INDIA FIRST CLASS train is not what we expected!

theres a need for mental preparation before embarking on a prolonged indian trip. its not for everyone otherwise you will not last enough its real beauty outside of ones comfort zone. but even so jaipur, agra, jaipur is a good intro. and yes mathura near agra. was in mathura march 7, then vrindavan march 8.

-the way to do it with touts that works is to wear noise cancelling earphones that they can see and just walk straight and

-use uber in big cities so no need to talk to touts.

-use google maps, VERY essential.

In India, please don't hire a taxi/tuk tun near the station/Airport. Either opt for Uber (via app) or walk few meters away from the station/airport (out of premises) and then try to find tuk tuk, People in India are good, but they just get over-excited when you bump into them. Bon voyage.

Cookies and chips for about 50 cents😢 reminds me of the 1990s in the U.S. that cost about 4 to $5 now

You should have celebrated Holi in vrindavan

foreigners and the word tuk tuk is epic and permanent

Most of the people do not know that the Tajmahal was about to be perished .
It was about 125 years ago .
In that time , the whole Tajmahal area became covered with dense jungle .
The area was deserted .Only
wild animals and dacoits would go there . None could dare , even in day time ,go to that place . The Taj was covered with big trees and creepers .
The English Viceroy of Then India , Lord Carzon took steps to clear the jungle, and rescued
The Taj , restored , reformed and beautified the total area .
If , this was not done , perhaps
The Taj would have been totally ruined .

I want there ask well but found it very dirty and the people really do not respect since it was lord Krishna birth place

I am sorry if your holi experience wasn’t amazing in Vrindavan but that’s the best place for Holi other than Pushkar . However if one doesn’t like to get drenched and get coloured then Holi is surely not meant for them and one should escape from going on street . Holi is our favourite festival and we love celebrating it.

There was a black one behind it maybe wasn’t built then been a couple years since I was there we had it experiment. I think it built it for his wife for something what I remember, our guide said . We also went to Jaipur, but every place we went to we only stayed two days. We had a car that picked us up every day for one day then we had enough of that but we had a great time.
