2004. I was born March of that year. Only a few months when this came out November that same year.

My dad used to work frequently in Germany in 2004 meaning I seldom saw him for a time.
When he returned though, we would always sit together and go through Halo. The Halo 2 main menu always reminds me of sitting waiting for him to come through the door so we could continue our adventure and this video throws me straight back there.

He’s 70 now and still likes to fire up halo now and again. I’m lucky to have had such a blessed childhood and a loving father

If the Universe listens bring back these TVs man we just want to go home back to our time period where technology was at its peak lately I haven't been using my SmartTV because I miss these things by a lot it's sad the only thing that remains are playlists like this keep up the work one day we will bring them back as an option.

my older brother had the "Legendary" edition with the silver, metal case and I used to watch the Behind the Scenes and Making Of over and over just imagining how much fun they must've had making it.

i didnt experience this on release being a playstation kid but 2004-5 was an amazing period for games. I know theres good indies still today but it was just so much nicer to have full fat triple a releases that werent shallow generic cashgrabs built by people barely intrested in "the current project" Id give almost anything to have this period back where most of the games being made just seemed so much more genuine and were made with real care and passion. It's just obvious when you look at dev interviews from the time. This is what i actually want to return. Childhood and adolescent nostalgia is nice tho of course too. I wish i could of had all the consoles and the best games from each and had played this and games like morrowind on release instead of years or decades later.

When me and my friend used to hang out we'd play Halo and Halo 2 and for some reason we were playing Halo 2 then took a break and we left the game on the menu and just chilled while hearing this in the background. So beautiful, Good times!

Real OGs will instantly notice that the Xbox doesn't look right, and if you look even closer you realize it looks a bit off almost like it's AI, the Xbox logo on the TV oddly enough resembles the original more.

I remember clear as day on a Friday after-school, I was in mid 7th playing this game while drinking BigRed float soda if yall remember that combination brand. Very nostalgic for me
