EXPLAINED - Weapon Passives in U39

The multiplier only affects the bar the ability was cast on right? Like if i do inferno Stave back bar and cast a DOT if i switch back to front bar the DOT damage is still higher because when i cast the spell i had inferno stave out right?

I really like mainbarring bows now and backbarring fire staves, it really feels like a viable combo with how good the bow weapon skills are

i'm glad i made a bow arcanist instead of the brainded meta.

It's not unmotivated, it's a pure balance change to get everyone away from only using daggers. That said, I agree the existing weapon choices were never all that far apart in the first place, only that newer players are overwhelmed and like cutting through the BS by focusing on a single meta choice, however small or situational the advantage. That's something this likely can't fix in the long run either, so I understand your sentiment.

Stamplar lightning staff/2handed ?

Unfortunate they dropped crit chance from thief mundus stone and the dagger passive.

So a stam arcanist with Veli mytic, Ansuul's, and Deadly......fire staff will be best instead of lightning to maximize fatecarver on front bar?

So for arcanist you think bis will be inferno staff both front and backbar? Or maybe something like bow on backbar (i saw other videos which say master bow for single target is very strong)
