They took it because it was at least 2000 dollars in steel . I have done a lot of recycling and it is 175 a ton . At least a 1000 dollars in steel but if you could not move it . They could have easily charged that much to move it.

You can harvest your own saffron now! (That will be considerably more work than the planting...)

Alex' electric augering made me grin. We usually just use a sharpened stick with a cross handle.

Considering how well they proliferate you probably could have planted them more sparsely. But that way you had a nice display in the first season already.

Oh, the crocuses were beautiful!! I've done that with daffodils and paper whites all over my front yard. It's always wonderful to see them start peeking their heads out of the ground after a long, cold winter!!

I have bamboo in my garden and it's well behaved. It's old, has formed a lovey clump, and is wonderful for staking plants and creating teepees and temporary trellis in the garden. I haven't purchased a garden stake for twenty years because my home grown bamboo ones do such a good job.

The bulbs are very nice! They are very expensive in the USA! I purchased a large gladiola bulb for $22.00 for the one bulb!

They look wonderful! It's a dream of mind to have a yard of spring blooms like these. Not sure I will ever be able to afford to own my own olace though so for now I watch videos, and enjoy walking by local homes that have early spring flowers.

I have also had bulbs from Farmer Gracy and they have been a great success, tulips and different types of daffodil.

They turned out really lovely a great show of Springtime to brighten the garden. Well done. I have never seen orange Crocus so I better look out for some of those.

Lovely! Such a beautiful and welcome sight at the end of a dark, cold winter! Even on the cloudiest days, the sprouts of color puts a smile on your face.

Those crocuses look lovely! They will probably spread out and thicken into a vivid bank of bright spring stars for the coming years, too. What happened to all the peonies? Will we see them in a later video?
