Webflow's New Hidden Element

Looks like this no longer works – the class attribute is wiped from the element on the published page. Although everything is fine within the Designer.

UPD: the class name for the DOM element must be blank as in the Timothys explanation

Great discovery! Looking forward to give it some extended testing :-). There’s one issue with the <h2> wrapper. Those text elements inside your heading are wrapped in a <div>, which is not allowed in HTML. These should rather be <span> to make it standards compliant.

Webflow might have introduced this basically naked html tag element for app-development I guess? Not meant for the everyday user but SUPER helpful indeed. They should introduce it as an official element in the advanced section!

Rather than copying and pasting each time, an alternative is to save it in the library that the ViDesign Extension allows. This way, you can find it from the extension in every one of your projects.😊

From the comments I've read so far, I can copy it from your cloneable. But what if I don't want to jump between sites every time I create a new page just to copy/paste a dom element out of your base? So is there any specific app that allows me to add the dom element or how can one access it from a fresh site?
