My favourite synth for bass is my Moog Voyager - really great bottom end.
ОтветитьThis was awesome dude. Thanks. Subbed :)
ОтветитьHey! I am using serum, really like this synth🙂. Learning to master it completely! I produce mostly house & techno music. Really wanna find a way to add my personal touch to it and develop my genre. Thanks for the tutorial!❤
ОтветитьSerum and Vital. Psytrance.
ОтветитьTo much good 👏👏👏 I would like if you can do a video about Trance Bass 🙂
Ответитьwhat would you called a running bass like you can find in trance and melodic house? is it plucky too?
ОтветитьHey Will, how are you bro? Love your channel! Tkss for sharing so many nice stuffs. I'm trying to download the design bible but the e-mail never gets to me. Would you help me with any other way to get it?
ОтветитьOpinions on sub bass, instead of using 2 serum channels like you did, is it ok to make a midi channel with operator for instance, just deep sub sine wav to fill that low end? Pros cons?
ОтветитьSkrillex has stated that he made most of those bass sounds in FM8, not Massive.
ОтветитьTop!
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьI love how the Sound Design book shows a picture of a real physical book. Haha. Why do they do that? It's an e-book lol
ОтветитьAmazing video, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge in such a refreshing way 🙏🏼
Ответить🌛Humans will not change🌜
Ответитьlol....The only thing wrong is you thinking something is wrong with any of those bass lines
ОтветитьMan did you record the vocals in the first son or are they acapallas from some website?
ОтветитьI’ve been learning music production on my own for a year now and it’s overwhelming figuring out what to work on when there are so many videos and courses out there. I really feel your videos are so amazing and insightful. Filled with lots of information but still easy to follow along and understand. I’m considering signing up to your course!
ОтветитьLike the video, but the singing along is distracting me a bit.
Ответитьfull confession I like the first track better because it wasn't vanilla
ОтветитьI have something to learn from every your video. Thank you.
ОтветитьExamples were apples to oranges. Dude just doesn't like acid house. xD
ОтветитьWell, actually in first example of "wrong" bass - wrong one is better than second matched as right =)
ОтветитьLearning to use one synth helped me a lot over the years. NI Massive was my go to.
I like to bounce between Massive and Serum. A favorite of mine is TAL Uno. It's simple and fast to make bass and everything you could want.
Thanks for the great vid
This is a great video! Falcon is my favorite synth, I like how all of the patches are all in one bank (thousands) so I can search for whatever genre I need at the time Falcon also includes my UVI Workstation patches as well. My second favorite synth is VPS avenger. With Falcon I like the patch library but with VPS Avenger I like creating sounds from scratch.
ОтветитьHmmm. I do like the first one in the examples .. maybe I like it sounding wrong lol
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful video
ОтветитьGreat contents thank you so much
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial. Very useful tips.
ОтветитьMoral of the story; it's about the pjaooow's and bjaoow's , the thoof's and the dhoof's!
I can concur with that 😊
IMO the simplest way to correct an out of tune bass sample is just using basic music theory. A to C is a minor third up, i.e. 3 notes, which is exactly why you did by ear.
Great tips btw.
I only recently started producing music, so I am still experimenting with what I want to make. At the moment I am addicted to hardcore and hard dance music. Genres like Hardstyle, Melodic Speedcore and Frenchcore frequently feature a super distorted kick with a long tail, that also functions as the bass. Of course sometimes this effect is achieved by building the "punch" and "tail" of the kick separately and then sampling them, but it is also common to just start with a regular kick sample(usually a 909 or something similar.)
Ответитьxd
ОтветитьOriginality can be a bi-product of imitation. As the story goes; " Smells like teen spirit " was KC trying to write a Pixies song.
ОтветитьWelke software gebruiken jij om prest maken
ОтветитьBesides using Serum, I really like using my old rfxNexus 2 for its interesting presets. It's good for retro agressive edm sounds. Initially I discovered it from some witch house artists.
ОтветитьAs a big fan of it and its amazing sounding in any song, I have to admit that Serum is my go-to VST. With its powerful synthesis capabilities, it's practically my personal sound design laboratory. I can whip up any sound I need with ease and finesse, making it my top pick for any project.
ОтветитьLove You Will
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьExcellent video!
