While I do get that this is supposed to be short, I think that you should have included information about conflicts in regions besides Europe and Asia (Cuba was mentioned but that was it) as well as some other important events. Here are some of the things you should have talked about:
1. Central and South American conflicts involving anti-communist military dictatorships and civil wars
2. Conflicts in Africa such as the Congo Crisis and resistance to apartheid as well as communist military coups
3. Conflicts in the Middle East such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Iranian Revolution, and the Iran-Iraq War as well as the rise of Nasserism and Ba'athism
4. The rise of Suharto in Indonesia and the Indonesian invasion of East Timor
5. The Sino-Soviet split, the normalisation of US-China relations, and the subsequent Third Indochina War which involved China and the US fighting against Vietnam and the Soviet Union

Don't pretend like the Cuban missile crisis was instigated by the soviets. The soviet union sent nuclear weapons to Cuban only because the US stationed nuclear weapons in turkey. This begs question the validity of everything else you've said
