I hate Pitbulls one just killed a Four year old toddler today in Detroit went under the fence into the child yard and mauled to death only the grandmother was there and couldn’t help him this is stupidity what this woman is telling people it’s in their breed to do this just like collies that I raised and showed that they have a hurting instinct nobody can tell me that Pitbulls are safe I’ve seen this too many times and heard of it too many times ridiculous no one by Pitbulls unless you plan on locking it in a 10 foot run with a chain-link fence top and the gate with a lock also have it sit on Cement floor where the barrier along the fence on the bottom can keep the dog from digging under from the run make it secure if you really need to have a killer dog like a pitbull

Breed bans are bullshit. A ban would be okay if it's weight based because size and power are what makes a potentially dangerous. So dogs like Rottweilers, Boxers, German Shepherds, can also be dangerous. Every dog is born with a distinct personality. And how every dog is treated affects it. Pit bulls were bred to be dog aggressive, not people aggressive because they didn't want them biting the handlers. But lots of pit bull owners are bad owners because they are attracted to a scary looking dog. And they're a popular dog. So unfortunately these factors end up with Pit Bulls causing most of the bad injuries among all breeds. Most of the pit bulls I've been around have been total sweethearts. Even worse anything that looks like a pit bull can get banned now. e.g. an American Bulldog

In watching a video on rehabbing a Pit Bull used in fighting, it was noted that they have a very close bond with humans. I wondered if in the selective breeding if this characteristic was chosen. Seems everyone I know who knows Pit Bulls says yes. You just have to make sure they do not manipulate you.

the only problem with pitbulls.... is the bad breeders and ... lets call them, "challenged" owners, make the dogs behavior a mirror image of themselves and their interactions they have with said breed... They give proper pit-doglovers a bad rep. Pits are awesome if from a good breeder.

I feel bad for my neighbors pitbull. It walked up to another neighbors chow chow and got his ear and tail bitten off, and the owner lost a finger to the chow chow. Their pitbull is so timid that it didn't eat for 4 days when my little puggle died last year because they couldn't play anymore.

My cousin gave his girlfriend of 5 years pitbull the leftovers of a sandwich. He went back to watching with his arm hanging off of the couch. Without warning the pitbull bit his hand, twisted and ripped until it pulled loose meat and tendons. My cousins hand looked like hamburger meat for sharing. 💁🏼‍♂️ KAB

unfortunately a woman jogger was just killed by an american bully xl in austria recently. the owner was also put in the hospital and hasn't been able to be questioned by police for two weeks because she is so badly injured for getting in between. it's a very sad story. the american bully XL has been bread to kill, and an owner who is even slightly less than perfect (and strong) needs to be put in jail for even having such an animal if they don't know EXACTLY what they are doing.

I love your channel, but I don’t understand why with every other dog breed, you go over the cons of owning them and give advice to possible owners. But pitbulls are all positive. I support the banning of breeding pitbulls and bully type dogs, and any dog that was bred specifically for fighting and dog fights. It’s irresponsible. Pitbulls were bred to NOT let go when they attack. That’s why they’re so dangerous. Of course, any dog can be dangerous, but if you look at the statistics, pitbulls are the most dangerous breed and genetically they are at a loss. They were bred for bull fights. Humans have failed this poor breed. We should neuter/spay all living pitbulls, force restrictions on owning them, put up areas where people can exercise and play with their pitbull dog without being a danger to anyone else, and make it illegal to breed these dogs. Humans bred them inethically. It doesn’t matter how much the owner trains their dog, they are still likely to attack and kill somebody. Retriever dogs (such as golden and labrador retrievers) have NEVER killed someone because they are not BRED for that. It’s not in their genes. They were bred to retrieve things. Please do not spread misinformation about these dogs. They should be treated with the same caution as you approach with Kangal shepherds, Cane Corsos, Caucasian Shepherds/Ovchorkas, Boerboels, Akitas, and Central Asian Shepherds. This is the only video of yours I have a problem with because I can tell you treat every animal you groom with respect and healthy caution. Please don’t ignore this comment as mindless “pitbull hate,” because I love all dogs and believe in responsible dog ownership, breeding, and dog laws. Here are the dogs that were bred for dog fighting: American Pit Bull Terriers, Satffordshire Bull Terriers, Tosas, Bull Terriers, Kuchi Dogs, Bully Kuttas, Perro de Presa Canarios, Tibetan Mastiffs, Old English Bulldogs, Dogo cubanos, Brindisi Fighting dogs, Dogo Argentinos, Gull Dongs, Córdoba fighting dogs, Kangal Shepherd Dogs, Afghan Mastiffs, Caucasian Shepherd Dogs, Gull Terrs, Shar Peis, and Ca de Bous. I used to have a large GD X with a bull Arab Darcy a real nanny dog, he was a shocking escape artist, one day on one of my rare days at home, there was a knock at the front door, it was the lady from across the street she came to thank me as she used to do gardening in the afternoons she came in we sat down she told me about her fear of dogs when Darcy had found his way into her garden at first she was terrified, but soon he charmed her, she came to thank me for allowing Darcy to help her with her debilitating fear of large dogs, I was so proud of him, he crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge a couple of years ago.
It doesn't matter what type of dog big or small, training, socialising, and lot of understanding and patience are what makes the difference, between a good confident dog and a fearful, reactive dog.
