People that want a sequel with an older Matilda gunning down people John Wick style didnt understand the movie.
Leon sacrificed his money and his life to give Matilda a chance of having a normal life away from all the criminal underworld stuff, to make a sequel with her being a girl boss assassin would be to throw everything from the original away.
I absolutely love this film.... The European cut, that is. The NA release is neutered garbage.
ОтветитьThe orginal Joel and Ellie
ОтветитьIm still waiting to see Mathilda the professional

ОтветитьOne of the best child performances I've seen in a movie in my life. That's a badass little girl right there.
ОтветитьMovie Name plz
ОтветитьI knew I know this actor! From the Tigre e la neve 🙂
ОтветитьI thought this was about assassin's but it's actually a movie about a 40 year old man sleeping with a 12 year old
Ответить"Can we try with real bullets now?" Haha!
ОтветитьSuch a masterpiece, like literally, a masterpiece. The scene that literally starts it all & the build-up. That shows who Leon really is, and how iconic as well as legendary he is. Like you don't see him, he sees you, and just like Tony said bullets slide off of him. Its a work of art. With her being his protegee. Like literally its as if you're there to feel what hes saying, to breathe in, to focus, or if its as if you're her and he's telling you this, that's how much of a masterpiece this movie is because you're just so focused on it, with the amount of emotion and heartfelt moments this film has that just connects onto you as well as attaches onto you. A film with so much build-up, filled with raw emotions and feelings with a film that is truly memorable, unforgettable, legendary, and filled with emotions that you honestly can't help but feel alongside the characters & the emotional story behind it, especially what happens at the end which just makes this film turn to a sudden turn of just pure sadness especially with the build-up & how emotionally intense it was. A film & song where its just pure black and white, a film & song that has such strong emotions & feelings from/to your heart. Its a film where you just feel pure raw emotion as if you're the character or if you're seeing it first hand in person. A film with such a perfect selection of a cast with such an underrated actor Jean Reno. Like Jean Reno truly nailed the performance like hes so underrated, and it really shows. By far one of the greatest films of all time like all the roles were nailed perfectly. Its just a masterpiece. Not only that but this movie didn't have much of a budget either, and it turned out to be so successful and one of the greatest films of all time, which you can't deny, its something that everyone agrees on, like it or not, it is. Luc Besson the director literally nailed it & also proved how even at the time you didn't need that need such a huge budget to accomplish these things, and what an era it was, and what a big name for European Films if not the greatest European film, in comparison with American films that need such a big budget to accomplish the effects, it really shows the difference between the two as all thats needed is raw emotion. Such a masterpiece, a film like I said filled with such an emotional bond that you honestly can't explain it fully, its something that you honestly have to feel it to experience it. Truly unforgettable, memorable and much more. I honestly wish it got more credit that it was unfortuantely given, it honestly deserved so much credit, especially an award for Jean Leno and his performance. Such a perfect selection, such a perfect story, film, and of course music selection. One of the few films where you experience raw emotion, and feelings. Like even the trailer itself is just amazing. A film that you honestly feel through your heart, its just heartfelt like the emotions of the film just go through your heart and makes you feel it as if you're one of the characters especailly as Leon and Maltithda, and not only that but heartbroken as well, especially at the end of the film where you see a flash of light slowly entering and then fading away knowing that hes passed & finally achieved the peace he wanted, while also having something to loose for, and love with actual roots being placed - a meaning for him which was Maltithda. Like even now, when I watched this movie, I still feel the emotions thats how strong it is, its attached, especially every time when you look back to it and it always hits you over and over again. Like it's just unexplainable, you can try your best to explain it, but its something you just gotta feel for yourself like I said and its so emotionally intense. 5 stars. A film that literally hit me hard so many times in my feelings, and made me realize the true meanings of love & life, purpose. regret, change and gave me a perspective, a will, a reason, change - everything. It literally has so many messages, and feelings, of dreams, hopes, and roots. Like man this film just changes you, pure chills, pure tears, pure emotion, pure sadness and much more as well. So much to say, its honestly endless, with so many emotions & feelings.
ОтветитьWhat a wise scene. A truly unforgettable masterpiece, and a touching film. With such a perfect cast of the Underrated Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, and so many others, it literally created a film that was perfect with such a strong emotional, action-packed storyline and what a soundtrack. Honestly, one of the very few films, that you can truly say has no flaws, and one that everyone can agree is perfect. With such a low budget to work with, created a true masterpiece, A film, that'll never be forgotten.
Ответить1994: "no women, no kids"
2023: "no lgbt, no minorances"
And here is one reason why there are animes where gun using protagonists are under aged girls, some ideas actually came from western median…
ОтветитьFun fact: Natalie Portman weighs the same now as she did in this movie.
ОтветитьThese days it’s just, “no kids.”
Ответитьi love how big the bore is on the suppressor compared to the rifle
Ответить2;25 is that Bjork??
Ответить2;`10 can we try with real bullets, now? I don't often ask for sequels, but.......
Ответить1;00 "no women, no kids, right"? "right". a 14 year old with a sniper rifle. at least she has good training going on. didn't really age well, eh?

ОтветитьNever shoot holding your breath. Do it after you exhale
Ответить1994: No women, no kids, right?
2002: And not just the men! But the women and children, too!
Air gun hit at that distance? Impressive!
ОтветитьThey should make a spin off where she's older and a "professional"
ОтветитьA star was born with that movie. Unfortunately, Natalie Portman didnt had many good roles after that.
ОтветитьI got to see this movie last year, and it was really good. I usually don't watch too many movies as much as I used to, but I watch them on and off. This was one that seemed intriguing, and it didn't disappoint.
ОтветитьHearing Bjork at the end has convinced me to watch this now
ОтветитьWokenists would lose their minds if this movie was made today.
ОтветитьShe can try hit me too
ОтветитьWouldn’t call that a one shot, a gut shot is easily survivable.
Ответитьpedophilia has never been more tactical.
ОтветитьIt was good of him to teach her how to do this even if she was to young.
ОтветитьI was like yay they didn’t actually kill anyone.
ОтветитьIt's like training hit-girl
ОтветитьI nearly yelled, "OPEN THE DOOR LEON," in the theater when the movie got to this part.
ОтветитьAnd how old would he be know in real life
ОтветитьThis guy is a bad guy he’s teaching her to kill and innocent people at that
ОтветитьLeon is the reason why communist Democrats don't visit the laws being broken at the border. But there is a lot of Leon's everywhere. F.j.b
ОтветитьThey should make Léon 2 as soon as possible, before the girl grows up. This movie is amazing!
