"The USA remains the most powerful in the world "...
Somewhere the crying UK asks:
-What a hell! How did you do that?

Fun fact: In 1935, the Philippines became self governmental, called the Commonwealth of the Philippines.

I wish there was a bit more about the historic foundation in the video. About 185 years of American history is missing. The year 1565 is when St. Augustine, Florida, the first colony was established. But great to hear about the events after 1750, thanks for the video.

And then Biden was elected. Upon becoming the president he quickly surrendered our energy independence.

Todo el continente forma parte de España desde 1492;, el dominio se extiende de Polo Norte a Polo Sur y al oeste del meridiano español, salvo un pequeño trozo que España, obligada cedió a Portugal

in school in the US i swear the part about the colonists wanting to conquer the native americans rather than allow them to have a state(s) west of the colonies was heavily downplayed as a motivation for war lol. it makes the British look better and the colonists look a little worse. it doesn't contribute to the glorification of the colonists and the American project.

Somehow "Mobile" does not sound like a real place name; cars and telephones are mobile but a town, no not really. A real name is a geological description, such as Dover or Denver, both from Dun-Avon so Hill-Water, Glasgow from Galt-Isla-Log so Celtic-River-Lake or Lancaster Lan-Kelt-Isla Town-Celtic-River mixed with Latin Castellum (why the R, not an L or simpler why not simply the original Latin name conserved?). Anyway a real name makes sense.

Yes, 2001 the USA experienced a terrorist attack - but not from any Muslim nation or group. (Sincere condolences that this video, too, was constrained to perpetuate that ALMOST never-ending story...)

France's assist(s) and Europe's need for our industry are the two biggest points in our growth. Without France it's preeetty up for debate if the USA gains independence. Without France, who knows if we ever get the Louisiana territory. Also thanks Russia for Alaska.

And WW1, as unfortunate as the reason is, turned the USA into such a rich nation you could've probably added all of Europe together and still not matched GDP. It's taken, what, 100 years for anyone to start catching up. And there's still about a 33% gap to the next.

It's been a wild 250 years with plenty of bad and good.

I think a lot of people forget US history before the European settlement. The indigenous Native American tribes around the US have been around even longer. In Arizona you see that with some of the beautiful sites they built around the state (ie Montezumas castle that’s been there since 1100 AD)
