ОтветитьWell done, you have spent a lot of time putting this video together Basic Fishing, & I give it the big tick of 7 out of 10.Just a rule of thumb for these types of tutorial videos, time frame them down a bit as in you would be time framing this one down to half the length, say 10 minutes. condense it if you can even ,to 5 minutes & you will hold your audience better. I know it will be hard but try it, as the best You Tube tutorial video's run around 3 minutes max. Give it a try, but over all you have done a good job on the Kahawai Vid mate !!
ОтветитьAwesome video :) we went fishing last night and managed to catch 2 × 34 & 36cm Snapper. near the heliport going towards mission bay :) always try and look out out for you when we go fishing at the Queens wharf, devonport the big wheel and Birkenhead lol hope to 1 day meet you
ОтветитьExcellent video man! Just one tiny thing imho, the music volume is just a touch too loud. Other than that, spot on!
ОтветитьNice tutorial, very in depth. I have done a couple of tutorials myself but you have covered far more information than me! Keep up the videos
ОтветитьMy biggest kahawai was 3.21kg caught on half pilchards 🙂
ОтветитьPlease do a snapper How to, great videos keep them up!
ОтветитьHave you thought about a video on how not to catch Kahwai. Some days they hit your bait before you can get it to the bottom.
ОтветитьThey can be a real pain when the waters are full of them.
ОтветитьNice video and good tips!

ОтветитьWhat flasher rigs do you recommend for kahawai and snapper
ОтветитьWhat baits do you think works best
ОтветитьHey there, really enjoy your videos, have watched them quite a few times. I notice you use a breakaway sinker; does that mean the tactic used is to cast out far, let the sinker hit the bottom, reel in 'til it catches, then wait for a bite? If so, does that work for kahawai? I had understood that's appropriate for snapper (because they're bottom feeders) but wasn't sure if kahawai go down there and chomp on bait that's just tethered to the sea floor, as such. Long story short, I'm looking to understand what kind of 'action' to use to get kahawai (I am quite new to fishing and only gone after snapper before). Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome clip !
ОтветитьCould you do some more kahawai fishing episodes

ОтветитьHey man I commented on your surfcasting video and you gave me some nice help so I was wondering if you can help me out. I live in wellington and often go fishing in the harbor and somedays I like to try and catch kahawai to either eat or use as bait on a soft bait rod with some Diawa bait junkies. I use some small 2.5 inches (I also target gurnard with these) but I haven't been catching much. I was wondering if you've ever targeted kahawai around the wellington region and if u know what softbaits work and what techniques catch em.
ОтветитьMy first ever fish was a Kahawai at 63cm. Really big one. I'm taking my boy fishing tomorrow at an organized event. Most likely will pick up a few more.
Ответитьim 7 years late but this is still underrated
