With me working on a pilot episode for my series (yes, I'm doing that. Fingers crossed I actually finish it!) I thought it'd be good to reassure myself of how far I've come
As well as that I thought it'd be good to show all of you how far I've come. I did this earlier on with my art but someone mentioned that it hadn't changed much. I'm going to assume they're a non-artist as many non-artists or even beginner artists seem to think that how hard an artist works is based on how difficult their style is. Sure someone with a more realistic and less cartoonic style would have to work harder but their style could be anatomically incorrect and all over the place, mine however isn't perfect but I'm making it there with how it looks.
If you're a fellow artist you can probably see how much my art has changed and at the end of the day that's all the matters. Comparing myself to different styles is pointless. The only person you can compare yourself to is yourself and I think I've come a long way. I'm proud of it personally. So if you think nothing has changed then please look again at the quality, fluidity, anatomy, designs or anything because in truth it may not be the biggest change ever but it's a change none the less!
Now when and if my pilot gets released (praying I don't lose motivation or have some kind of art block) I'll be satisfied even if it ain't vivzie pop. Plus vivzie pop is an adult, who I'm pretty much sure went to art school, with a team of animators and other professionals so if anyone compares me pilot to theirs I'll be most confused 😂 as a 15 year old (I'll be 15 or older when it's finished) self-taught independent animator with unpaid child voice actors 😂
