I think this video had the unintended side effect of allowing human brains an opportunity to visually understand just how staggering a trillion actually is, compared to units like several thousands that we already process regularly.

More digits on the large number values might have made it more exciting. Wanted to watch that 2T get whittled down.
An additional rule could be launching a special hexagon that will divide whatever it encounters by 2, or one that makes 3 hexagons out of the target and annihilates 1 of them (resulting in 2 hexagons of 1/3 value of the original).
