I remember these guys! They nicely appeared in The Real Ghostbusters Season 2, Episode 5 - "The Spirit of Aunt Lois", where they ended up tormenting the titular aunt (Ray Stantz's, to be exact), an occult faker named Dr. Bassingame (who looked like a certain character from Filmation's Ghost Busters), and mostly got caught by the Ghostbusters in response. Extra emphasis on "mostly', since one was intentionally ignored so to annoy Bassingame.
ОтветитьVery much like the house brownie in Britain.
ОтветитьCame here cause I was reading the Bear and the Nightingale (an exceptional book!) and fell in love with the folklore creatures!
ОтветитьVery cool maybe I will get a Domovoy discount having Slavic Heritage! 😅😅❤
ОтветитьWow I remember my grandmother (RIP) telling me to respect the house and keep it clean because the Domovoy would judge me and either protect the household or cause problems if I don't.
ОтветитьOmg😂❤
ОтветитьThank you for the information
ОтветитьI love how this myth was probably created just to make the children help more with the house chores😂
ОтветитьCan you do journey to the west day 61
ОтветитьWho is Domovoy trying to keep out in the second picture? It looks like Gollum. Do they have a magical adversary in the myth?
ОтветитьDomesticated demons. They get a taste of the easy life and want in just like all the smart animals
ОтветитьIt's a lovely video about the Domovoy, the kind home ghost from Slavic tradition. A intriguing exploration into Slavic culture and values. Enchanting tale and visuals. Many thanks for sharing this unique folkloric component!🏡🌿🌟
Ответить❤😂🎉🎉😢😮😅
ОтветитьThis just like the Norse Hustomte 😊
ОтветитьSlavic stories are closely with Norse and galic

ОтветитьI love the domovoi
ОтветитьMust be the Slavic cousin of Dobby, the English House Elf.
ОтветитьAye beautiful history Domovoy dwarf i love that this video my dear brother father absolutely I love so much yup.
ОтветитьCool! 😎 👍
ОтветитьSlavic house elves who require much higher respect and treatment, basically. I like this!
ОтветитьOk, if you insist on Slavic myth, how 'bout Chernobog?!?! Please?¿
ОтветитьI bet this legend started when some slavic hunter went on a hunt and pased by a different village where a family who had a gandfather with dwarfism lived and the hunter, presumably never having seen anyone with dwarfism before assumed the grandfather to be some magical creature which he then proceeded to tell to his village when he got home and so the myth spread from there.
ОтветитьI had A Dream, where, I went to the goddess circe looking for advice on how to make Aphrodite Fall in love with me but she ended up falling in love with me instead.
Ответить❤🤍💙 all your videos mate👍
