I remember in High school as a cadet there was so much pride and respect,many went on to serve in the JDF. The selection process was strict but with good reason to protect the image and reputation of the military.

True words, i remember when i took the test in 2008 and was doing the medical, i failed one aspect of the eye exam(colorblind) to certain colors, i was denied.

Tru thing SIR P . Ther was a police officer station at the police station in New Market ST Elizabeth. When he go raids the people them ganja field .Any animals he saw nearby and I'm talking COW GOAT DONKEY HORSE. Any livestock. The JDF when I was coming up was so incognito, almost phantom-like. It was something to aspire to especially when you passed by upper camp and saw a rare sighting of them training. Soldiers were seen as respectful and disciplined.
