Xur FInally Brought The God Roll Hawkmoon! (GO GET IT NOW!)

Personally I never had the time to farm god rolls. Most of the rolls I have are like at best 3/5 I wanted. I like the crafting a lot it helps out folks like me. Ya know I paid the same amount of bread as people who have all the time to play. I always wanted to try em out but couldn’t. Now I can which is great but I understand completely why people feel like their grindin went to waste.

My opinion is that craftable weapons should be only for seasonal/event type weapons where there is a limited time to acquire the weapon and farm rolls. Raids, and other activities where the weapons can be easily focused for a LONG time, I think standard drops with multiple perks in column 3 and 4 are a better option. It keeps you going back for the god roll, but also craftable weapons should have a slight handicap in base stats compared to the "endgame" weapons, let alone perk pool options.

Overall RNG in this game is really bad, especially in events where I do the event for the whole time that its up, and save a few mid rolls but never get what I am looking for. Those should be quest bound for crafting, so you have time after the event to actually play with it after unlocking it. Instead, 90% of people get rolls on the weapons which arent even worth using, especially when you have some with only one or two redeeming qualities (Jurassic Green comes to mind, Cold Front has NONE).

Target farming should be utilized more, and not just a token for a drop, which was the D2Y1 method and is still the way that it is with vendor engrams. Vendor weapon focusing is also wildly expensive this season.

The previous mod system, along with the subclass trees gave every tree a specific playstyle/loop. Now its more generic other than the super, despite being able to build with more options. I will say, that as a voidlock, I LOVE having a suppressor grenade which is also the shortest cooldown.

I loved the previous mod system because of how diverse it was, having said that it was very restrictive compared to now.

Now that they have a solid base for build crafting they NEED to add more mods, bring back the fun that the old systems allowed.

Crafting is saving me from hoarding weapons in my vault. If it isn't Top weapon rolls, just dismantle it until you either find it or craft it.

Before 120s and all the perks that let you 2 tap people, there was the OG hawkmoon that had a unique perk that randomly gave bonus damage to 2-3 rounds in the magazine

Frostbolt I've been playing destiny for 9 years I've watched you since your d1 days I've never gone flawless bc I just didn't have friends that were pvp players or my friends quit . I've gotten so much better watching you and now through the added matchmaking and getting better I've went flawless 2 weeks in a row from the bottom of my heart thank you for helping me get better

I think they should have done world drops craftable and like end game weapons etc non craftable

Ritual playlist modes should have at least one craftable weapon

I’ve honestly only played one game of crucible this year 💀

The actual build crafting degrading hes 100% right on but the true upgrade was making the loaders and dexterity mods elemental and not weapon type specific

craftable weapons took all the fun from getting god rolls? surely you can only craft a certain number of weapons because of the lack of deepsight resonators? or am I missing something?

Hawkmoon with that ornament is what got me into using hand cannons I really wish Bungie would give more hand cannons real iron sights that's why I love using pure poetry because it has a front sight post even though it's small there's just something about it I can't explain but please Bungie make more of them

I need this Hawkmoon, but 3.0 gave me 6 shooter with weighted knife that's all I could've wanted. 3.0 is still a net negative. Can't step into the crucible without some clone army of well snappers or bubble pk titans.
