I love organising, my friends borrow me on a regular basis, we pick just a small area at a time, try not to spend too much money and sometimes even swap storage between friends as some better in other locations x

Never store food in plastic. Tests show that most northern Americans have way more plastic circulating in their bodies than is healthy.

Just keep less food in the pantry.
Avoid sugars and grains for the best health.
Europeans shop for fresh produce two or three times a week.
We have the luxury of groceries being delivered, which saves time, so now there is no excuse for buying processed foods.

Where did you buy your cutlery?? I have 2 of those forks randomly in our mess of a drawer but they're our favorite and don't know where they came from 😮

Some nice choices, hard for me to relate bc your clutter threshold is so much more than mine. This is far too much inventory for me to manage in this season of my life. Good on you for. keeping all yours organized and tidy.

Buy down inserts and just change the pillow cases so you are not storing a bunch of poly filled pillows.

Hi would be great if you could use/repurpose some regular/ecofriendly boxes as organizers. So much of plastic in a living space just seems unpalatable

It always gets me when I hear Americans talking about guest bedrooms. Like, how much real estate do you have to own to have a room to spare? Over here in Eastern Europe nobody has a spare room, ever. To the point each room has several functions. Like my living room is also my dining room, my office and my gym. My hallway is also the laundry room and the closet space. We've got families of 3 living in 2 room apartments where someone has to sleep in the living room and someone in the kitchen. Guest room?! Jeez...

Did you find that those vacuum bags stayed ...vacced? I have tried every brand including the supposed best and after a period of time they filled back with air. I had several under my bed and couldn't get them back out the following winter because they reinflated higher than my bed frame.

The problem with the obsession lately with decanting spices is nobody mentions remembering to put the expiration date, so I’m glad you did!

It’s not about just organize, it’s actually about declutter and live a simple life. Americans just have too much stuff in the house.

My bf live with two roommates, we are moving into our own apartment in May and I can not to organize thing and make everything have a place. Our apartment now is so unorganized and everything is put in a different place every time it’s used so I can never find anything.
