Im in Houston and the diesel "sub culture" is serious. I almost went with a diesel, but maintenance costs plus the new emissions gear makes it an expensive choice.

Im not tryna hate,this dude has a sick truck and obviously works hard but 7k for injectors dosent seem right. You can get injectors that will support 1000 plus horespower that are brand new for like 4 to 5k some even as low as 3500.

What he also failed to mention is when he said “it ain’t that bad” as far as regular routine maintenance i.e. oil changes and filters, they still cost nearly double what you probably buy for Red. Now, for someone like him running a fully established renovation company, it’s probably no problem at all. Not taking away from that, make that money young man. But just straight up comparison, it costs nearly double if not more for everything on a diesel compared to gas.

The squat law in NC is for certain amount of lift in the front versus the rear. I can’t remember what it is off the top of my head and I’m too tired to look it up 😂 “once you go diesel you never go back.” *if you have the funds.
I went from F-150 to F-250 diesel and now I’m back in F-150 and couldn’t be happier. $1600+ for injectors when they went out I just couldn’t do it. Shit adds up quick just to keep it at factory power levels and reliable.

Not a fan of the pavement princesses. I’m all for a clean truck but throw on some AT tires on a decent sized rim and keep the utility. Just don’t get the point of sitting on 1 inch of rubber and not being able to tow or haul a damn thing. 🤷🏻‍♂️
