The first sponsor I enjoyed in years.
ОтветитьOncoming traffic must love you guys!!!! I see you dont run any yellow or amber . No snow or fog in the outback?
Ответитьwhat are those antenna looking things on your grill guard
Ответитьthese are overkill. "people wanna use their gear" yea so they blind each other in a convoy just so they can play with their expensive toys. Meanwhile in the tayga russian guys run half a set of H4 in a NIVA, because its burnt out since 1980, and still manage harder terrain than these guys in their fancy trucks, with recovery boards and whatnot. Its all about who has the more expensive setup after a certain amount of lights. yes 2 round lights in the bumper, and (i hate roof lights, and hood corner/a pillar lights [they are the most awful, the jeep/crown vic style]) and some work lights in the back, but everything above that amount is just showing off. "rock lights" are the most idiotic, on rubber banded tires on a pavement princess chevy.. yea cuz the guy with monster tee, gonna go rock crawling. rock lights are the neon of the 2020s
ОтветитьThis is the 4 Wheeling in Australia content I like to see. No stupid editing, no sell out attitude, not over commercialised. Please return to this type of content Ronny.
I really have tried, but I can't get into your new style. I understand why you are changing though, the algorithms determine the path of a lot of channels. I guess I'll keep my eye out for someone who hasn't been hooked yet.
An additional reason that driving at night is safer… tunnel vision. There is less distraction from the beautiful scenery. If you can only see what is illuminated directly ahead, you spend fewer precious seconds focused on some interesting feature in the far distance. It’s like having blinders on, forcing you to only look at the immediate front. If I’m looking at the beautiful mountain top in the distance, it’s easy to overlook the pothole that I wish I would have avoided.
ОтветитьRonny just covers everything when you looking to blow 100 plus grand on a 4x4 love the kid
ОтветитьGreat video. I have a question. I'm really curious: If any kind of amber or yellow Fog lights have been tested, I already have two spot lights and possibly will be mounted on the front Rhino push bar have Crown Victoria police interceptor.
Ответитьhai, can you share me type and model of your antenna. thank you Ronny
ОтветитьJust chuck 2 Narva Ultima's on ditch the rest. Big distance lights are bloody useless if you want to combat fatigue 400 metres of good even light is the go.
ОтветитьBest Tip: do not drive at night
Ответить🇵🇬..
ОтветитьU have a bull bar but u have the light behind the grill 🤔
ОтветитьIm sorry to tell you sir.. you have HID.. im sorry..
ОтветитьSo you mount your lights illegally & use them illegally. Typical
ОтветитьI put a 42 inch lightbar on my commodore ;)
Ответитьhorn mate..
when you around the bend
If you go to NSW with lights up on the roof you will get defected
ОтветитьWhat do you think of the lazers elite spotlights is there a better spotlight on the market
ОтветитьTip #1 get out your wallet
ОтветитьThink of the birds and wildlife having their retinas burned out. Don't over do light grunt.
ОтветитьThis also really helps to find parking stalls in the mall… Just saying.
ОтветитьIn WA it is only legal to run 4 additional forward facing (non factory) lights. So it is worth keeping that in mind when looking at a setup combining multiple lights.
Additional lights that have a solid cover fitted when on road are not considerred part of the four in use are also fine.
And to you dusters out there, just think of your buddy’s poor air filter lol good advice to stay back and keep the lights down in that tho, good tip for people who haven’t off-roared in caravans much
ОтветитьHi Ronny i heard that you can you only have max of 4 extra lights besides your headlights...have you had any issues with the cops running more than extra 4 lights?
ОтветитьThoughts on Amber lights?
ОтветитьHey ronny! Thinking about the idling, what happens with the LED lights that are on the market, do they still drain your battery a lot? Thinking about comments on how some LED’s dont really drain the power but on a higher level it could happen, can you explain? How can you keep track of the volts with a stock and almost basic setup (only running led’s 9inch semi cheap halogens and a power plant for the speakers) cheers from Costa Rica!
ОтветитьThanxx Ronny 👍🇦🇺keep it up
Ответить👍
ОтветитьWhat about yellow lights or amber for the dust? I just recently got some of visionX's selective yellow lights they are supposed to be much better for dust, snow, and rain and whatnot because it doesn't reflect as much. I haven't used them too much yet but I think having the yellow lights are going to be really nice for certain situations.
ОтветитьSome good tips and making me rethink the cheaper lights. Cheers.
ОтветитьDo you ever run a rear facing amber light in dusty conditions?
ОтветитьWhen you are on the highway and some a$$ comes at you with their bright lights on. I Hit all of my off road lights. Yep, they get the hint real fast.
Ответить(Tip) I always make sure the driving lights don't protrude past the Bullbar. That way small nudge or obstacle strike has less chance to smash them .
ОтветитьBad advice No more then 4 driving lights or light bars in wa
ОтветитьWith dust, i found fog lights with no spotlights work well
ОтветитьThe spread and range of lights is one thing, you really need to focus on the color temperature of the lights. The Kelvin value. 5500K is good for most people in general conditions. But a bit of fog, a bit of rain, a bit of dust....4300K is way better for visibility. It simply just easier for the eyes. The Amber/Yellow covers that Harry was talking about in his Modified video. Also, 5500K creates more shadows than 4300K.
ОтветитьBest tip for lights is throw all that junk in the bin and get Aussie made Ultra Vision Lighting, best lights on the market.
Ответитьnot sure if i missed it earlier, but noticed you are using alloy wheels, i remember you favoring steel wheels before
ОтветитьGreat stuff. I would like to see your recommended config between white light and amber. I run a lot in snow (US - High Sierra) and dust (Desert). You mention staying out of dust but not using a good mix of amber vs. white. I use HID for headlights that throw a tight line and good distance. I am considering an amber bar (30 inch) for snow and dust and white spots for augmented visual distance off road. Thoughts?
ОтветитьAre you blind when you turn you high beams down - yes - they are too bright
Are you blind when you turn you high beams down - no - your lights are good
Next!?
Another great vid! Off road lights are coming up on my list of mods sometime soon, so this vid was super useful. Cheers, mate!
ОтветитьCheck out: Subaru OFFROAD Australian Sand
Ответитьcould you make a video of comparison pajero sport and fortuner, especially on off road trip
ОтветитьDo you use a backup generator just in case your power in your battery is drained?
Ответитьthank you for share this detail video with other
ОтветитьG'day Ronny, I hate to be a killjoy but you are only allowed to fit 4 extra headlights to a vehicle - Road Traffic (Vehicles) Regulations 2014 - 286.Motor vehicle headlights to be fitted - (4) Up to 4 additional headlights may be fitted to a motor vehicle with 4 or more wheels, a motor cycle or a motor tricycle. Just saying.
