What i learned in cosmetology school is that you aren't supposed to cut the cuticles. Only the epiniychium. I hope i spelled that right 😅 also, when it comes to pedicures no one should use a cheese grater, because one it doesnt get disinfected well and if done to much, you can damage and hurt the skin under the dry , callous skin. I had a pedicure done one time and that happened to one time by a professional. I only learned the basics though as i specialize in hair.

I’m a nail technician and sorry but she did a terrible job finishing these nails. I don’t get why the pudding gel or the way she went round the stones with that thick gel wowzer

The nails were so much better before the procedure. The natural shape and colour are so beautiful on you. And what a flawless shape of fingers you have! But these pink nails with ugly details shortened and widened your fingers, what a shame

Every time I get my nails or feet done it makes me nod off hard, I guess I understand now what causes it!

I come back to this video all the time! I speak a tiny bit of Japanese, and I do my own nails, so this is always interesting to watch / listen to. Plus, it's incredibly relaxing 😌 ❤ I really appreciate the nail techs thoroughness, and her honesty about the good and bad parts of nail enhancements ❤

I'd tell the tech to skip the cuticle cutting part. Cuticles are part of a healthy nail! It's a barrier of protection from infection 🤦🏼‍♀️

Even if you wash your hands
bacteria will remain on your heavily nail

3 hours for a full set. Wow. That's a long appointment.

I have not seen those nail wrapping papers used in years.. they used to use those for silk wraps... are nail extensions not acrylic tips?

I believe you should have been asked to remove your ring. It always happens where I go, because the nail dust becomes trapped around the ring and has to be cleaned.

I'm trying to stay awake while watching..... It's so peaceful 😂. Why don't us men have anything like this.

Wanted to relax but only got triggered. I wasn’t able to watch more than 12 minutes because it was so infuriating. That’s a perfect example of a salon with an absolute lack of hygiene. No gloves, don’t even get me started on the brush or drills and files. Disgusting.
And maybe the translation is bad but if it isn’t then this nail technician has no idea about what she is talking. Buffing to dehydrate the nail? What even is that

Nail technician myself, if you get your nails done with gel polish or Shellac, There will be no buffing, so no damage to the nails. Just a tip 😊

Die Nagelfee macht das richtig gut. Bin mehr als begeistert. Die Nägel sind ein Traum. Leider gibt es in meiner Umgebung nicht so tolle Nagelfeen. Die machen ihre Arbeit auch gut, aber es sieht dann nicht so toll aus wie bei dir. 😍

Big jewels to the side, french tip white with top glitter and pink, oh if I wore acrylic nails I'd wear them like you do. Glitter honey!

This is so interesting and such a nice close up view. I like that there is no music or noise in this salon. Every salon I've been to in California is noisy and not relaxing.
