God does not get involved in the personal lives of others and does not give anyone any opportunities period. Out of the billions and billions of galaxies and planets in the universe I find it to be very arrogant that so many people (especially Americans) think they are the center of the Universe and that "Earth" is god's favorite planet and that the U.S. is god's favorite country.

Get over yourselves people! You are not that important to god. You are nothing more than a tiny grain of sand in one giant sandpile. That is how insignificant all of you are.

Even though that was a little bit sad that he didn't like Hum. Did he think they stole anything?
Because I think they were THE ONLY band that was even close to Pumpkins in terms of blissful spaceyrock.
And I for sure was very happy that there were two great metalgaze alt.rock outfits at once <3

Billy saying Kurt isn't here but "I can beat the rest of them for sure" is fun. I like the competitive spirit, but no way he beat PJ or Cornell's post Kurt output.

Always loved smashing pumpkins.....they were the second band from modern secular music I ever heard (I was raised by grandparents from the greatest generation out on a farm that still had an outhouse in 1995),......I heard Nirvana and the next day I was exposed to the Smashing Pumpkins and that started by love for rock music....but aside from that I've always had a soft spot for Billy Corgan, even though he talks a lot ......like a lot...he loves to hear himself talk...but this interview took him up about 50 levels in my respect book for him standing up and talking about his belief in God. This man is wrong on a lot of things but he's always straight forward and I deeply appreciate that, especially in our current socio-political climate. Also great to see him in a seemingly better place emotionally - he was scaring me for a little bit where every time I saw him he was about 5 pounds heavier than he was the last time I saw a video of him and he just kept looking more and more tired - despite the obvious natural aging, he actually seems more vibrant and youthful in this video and It looks like he's lost maybe 15-20 pounds from where he was in 2021, so It seems that he's in a much better place and I love seeing that.

When Billy drops the ego, he is actually a super charming guy. The catalogue is hit-and-miss, but no denying the gems this man and his various cohorts have given us over the years, and the dedication to his craft. Nothing but respect that he is still at it after making it through all the tumult of his generation.

Kurt used to call Billy, 'The Pear Shaped Box'. That's about the level of respect he had for him. This sad, pathetic has-been is so desperate for relevancy, that he cant stop attempting to tie his legacy with Cobain's in interviews. And yet the best Cobain could muster for this guy was a cheap personal insult. Its a travesty that the deceased never get a right of reply.

I met Michael Jordan too, it's really like that. He has incredible charisma but at the same time the simplicity and humility of real people on another level.

An artist who has done the work on himself to mature and grow and become a wise mentor to so many... The influence he has had on music is indescribable... The story of U2 is amazing, but not surprising... I still try to see (shoot) the Pumpkins every time they tour!

Genus icons such as Billy should not concern themselves with the obviously jealous rantings of an insignificant bearded man from Brooklyn. Can't wait to see the show at Jones Beach this Wednesday. Corgan is so articulate. I've always loved SP because their music feels so intelligent & different from all of the other bands from my generation & they continue to put out great music & given who their front man is, it's no wonder...SP has been a huge part of the score of my life narrative ❤
