Ya dude — love yer page sir
ОтветитьAre you the drummer from Tustin who played in a LZ cover band with the Japanese guy Jimmy Page likes?
ОтветитьOh man! That came together right away very beautifully! How friggin cool!!!
ОтветитьWhat a great lesson! Bossanova meets Bonham!😮👍
ОтветитьCount the beat and you’ll see it is not in time back to the one and I don’t think that is your intention?
ОтветитьThis is fantastic and great stuff. How did I miss this over the last 4 years?
ОтветитьHeavy hitters are not playing my drums
ОтветитьWow!!
Ответитьthis is the best illustration I've seen
ОтветитьSaved to drum lessons
Ответитьcoming out of the rhythm I noticed you place a B/D beat before the fill
ОтветитьDEFINITELY LEARNING THIS TO MY PLAYING AND MY WRITING 🥵🥵🥵🥵
LOVE YOU DUDE FOR THIS 😭😭😭😂😂♥️♥️
This might have nothing to do with drumming but by some accounts John Bonham was a total bastard.😂 When I listen to Led Zeppelin I imagine John Bonham defiantly competing with the "band leader" Jimmy Page and many times upstaging him. I think a lot of the more egotistical guitar legends from the 70's might not have tolerated this.
ОтветитьAre you still making videos?
ОтветитьLots of Bonham Channels - But dawg, you got that ‘Bonham talking to himself when he’s playing’ - down. Nobody talks about that. He was always chatting it up back there
ОтветитьVery good guide to play the strokes perfectly! Actually, they seem a lot easier than they really are when you play them, since it takes a lot of practice to get them to sound right!
ОтветитьAwesome 👍
ОтветитьAwesome
Ответить24,20,18,15?
ОтветитьExcellent.
ОтветитьAwesome! My brother got me a Alesa nitro mesh kit for Christmas. I've never played the drums in the past but I'm learning now at 58 haha. I always loved the drums on The Rover.
ОтветитьThis is super cool and practical, thanks a lot Derek!
ОтветитьJust what I've been looking for 😊
ОтветитьEnjoyed the hell out of that.
ОтветитьGreat lesson - subbed.
ОтветитьSo is this the Stairway fill too? The herta?
ОтветитьLess talk more show, and you . And you should also played slow for the beginner and intermediate drummers.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your compassion and sharing some trade secrets...LOVE your cam shots!!! It helps all of us BONZO fans immensely!!! Thanks BRO.
ОтветитьYes !
Speed King - further YES !
Thanks
You’re an Excellent instructor ! Wished I’d found you sooner. Your band needs to come to TX and play Dallas, Houston etc. !
ОтветитьWe need more videos like this, bud!! Bonham-isms/Bonham building blocks. Would be awesome to see more content along these lines from you breaking down classic Bonham fills/flourishes/stickings.
Keep up the great work!!
Amazing
Ответитьfantastic thank you so much for this
Ответитьyes finally found someone thats going to open the doors, great job liked and subscribed.
ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьYou're freakin' amazing dude! Wow! I love the sound you get on these videos (aside from the great drum tuning). What type of mics and recording software do you use?
ОтветитьCool af watching and listening to this.
ОтветитьYou've been a huge inspiration to me.
Went through hell with my heart, and drums have always been my outlet.
I haven't had drums since 2009. Picked up a Centennial ZEP4 Bonham sized kit Green Sparkle, of course.
Long story short. Thank you from an old man fighting to stay alive.
Thank you for all you do, and for being here! You're gifted with great talent, thank you for sharing with us.
Love the Showco. T shirt...!!!
ОтветитьMY MAN YOURE WHERE GOING HARRRRRRDDDDD ON THE DRUMS YOUR LIKE BOHNAMS TWIN THE DRUMS SOUND LIKE HIS THE CYMBALS SOUND LIKE HIS I CANT GET OVER IT
ОтветитьSpectacular lesson👍👍🥁
ОтветитьMan, I wish you would notate this or at least show a click as you play so I can figure out exactly what you're doing. Really cool, but could be more educational.
ОтветитьDude has command on these licks, but they don't sound like Bonham 2 me.
I guess it's the Masters
touch, feel, space between the notes, and overall character
that's missing here for me.
Mabey a touch 2 critical.
Decent tutorial.
Spectacular stuff, you're a master.
ОтветитьWow...great tutorial, D! Now I just need to get a set of drums! Looking forward to seeing you play live sometime soon.
ОтветитьLove ur kit looks exactly like bonhams
ОтветитьLove the sound of the kick
ОтветитьI thought it was an earthquake
ОтветитьHey man, I play the drums my self and I always wonder dose bonham use a speed king drum pedal to the the kick drum sound like the pedal is bouncing off the drum or is it the toms thats making the sound like that it sounds like it bouncing
