Love the style of your explaining, and that you try to simplify the rotation and provide some basic concepts of the class. To many guides talk for 20 min about talents and gear only spend like 2 min for the rotation.

This video is perfect. I am an unholy dk and Im trying to get my friend to play and I carried him in dungens to 70 in dungens so hes not a 100% on how it works being his first character. I watched 3 videos to have a basic mythic plus setup and rotation and most are 30 mins long with single target and mythic builds plus all the mid maxing they try to throw gets confusing quick for a newbie.

Great guide. With augmentation coming soon I’ve wanted to pick my evoker up and finish leveling it and with the simplicity of this video I’ve gotten the confidence to do so.

This was the video i was waiting for speaking as someone who played every other existing class and specc in WoW. I felt so dumb seeing the massive amount of spells ev has and how long that prio list in written guides is. It was the first class i've seen and could not grasp the idea behind it how to play.

in regards to evokers we seem to be thought of as a "glass cannon" this could not be more from the truth. I feel like a lot of evokers dont know how to play the defensive game as well as they can play the DPS game. here is my suggestion to survivability. it is the healers job to heal you and your job to save yourself. as aaron said the use of hover will greatly increase your DPS uptime in combat to that optimal 95% level, aside from that I use verdant embrace when im close to 1/2 dead, obsidian scales when I drop 1/2 way down but only if VD is on CD or a high damage thing is about to go down, renewing blaze I only pop when raidwide damage is about to go off. and emerald dream should be lined up with raid mechanics and popped to time as best you can as a raid wide aoe heal, not a personal unless you're sub25% and pots and healthstones become a thing when im like 20% or less hp

Finally a good video without overcomplicating stuff.

Biggest tip as a 4/9 m dev main is to learn how to use the hover ability. Moving and dpsing is crucial to both surviving movement fights and doing more dps in the process. A lot of the time, hovering and not dashing is the correct choice.
