I shoot in black and white.
Would it be better to take my pictures in colour for editing.
I’m new to the world of editing so any advice will go a mile:)
So basically you just jack up the contrast so it looks trendy.
ОтветитьThnx man
ОтветитьThank you for this fantastic tip
ОтветитьThat was a good video
ОтветитьI'll definitely have to try this
ОтветитьYou are the best. Thanks for this! 🙌🏾🙌🏾😊
ОтветитьI did this while also pulling down the blacks on the tone curve.
ОтветитьIm looking to improve my editing tecnique for my b/w photos, so this came in quite handy! Thnx!
ОтветитьAbsolutely spiffy.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьPerfect editing approach, Mark, and thanks a lot for sharing.
Yes, that Tint slider is the key point how to adjust the natural tones on the photo, I usually get perfect results for portraits at the value -30
Very usefull. Thank you very much
Ответить100% wrong
ОтветитьGreat video! Quick and to the point, no annoying filler. You've got a new sub
Ответитьcan you give a tutorial if the photo was already taken in monochrome on cam? Nice video
ОтветитьI like the effect it does to some B&W. Been trying it on some photos and it really only works on stuff with a true subject, and even then it doesn't always select the correct subject with the mask. I also tried it on some landscape photos, and it really hurts the overall landscape. Maybe I am doing something wrong but it kills the effect that a great sky can bring to a deep rich B&W photo can have in the sky. Please let me know if I am wrong with this and how I can bring this kind of preset into a landscape.
ОтветитьWhat software is this 😭
ОтветитьWhich app ?
ОтветитьBrilliant technique Mark and will defiantly be using regularly.
ОтветитьHi Mark, great new approach to B&W editing! I will definitively try it myself. Thanks for this fresh idea. The results you showed are really worth a try. Greetings from Vienna, Enver
ОтветитьCan you make one for Lightroom Mobile please 😊
ОтветитьI would love to have that preset you created Sir. That’s how I like my B&W’s to look
ОтветитьThat’s incredible.
Would you happen to have the preset so I can download it and play with it?
"Rubbish, built-in presets!" Ouch.
Ответить🎯
ОтветитьSuper interesting technique, thanks.
ОтветитьHi Mark, thank you for this, it completely change the game !
ОтветитьThank you!! All the best from Norway!
ОтветитьExcellent. Shall try it out
Ответитьi tuoi consigli e la tua competenza sono sempre preziosi
ОтветитьSays he doesn’t use contrast slider, then the first thing he does is push contrast slider to +100
ОтветитьGreat tutorial 🎉 thank you!
ОтветитьGame changer! Thanks mark for sharing. New subscriber
ОтветитьThat is a great tutorial on black and white. Greatful to you
ОтветитьCheers mate, simply said and done, no rambling, love it, thx🙏
ОтветитьHi Mark thank you so much for this tutorial, extraordinary. Temp and Tint sliders do not go beyond +/- 100 Lrc 12.4 version while in your video your sliders bo past 100% mark. Please advise. Many thanks
ОтветитьBrilliant!!
ОтветитьHi. Your method works well for that kind of images you show with blur and monotone portrait in moody dark backgrounds. For other kind of photography is not so handy. It would be great a video on black and white for something different to portraits.
Regards
Great stuff! I dialed in these adjustments on my Ricoh Gr iiix jpeg settings. You can add same white balance adjustment and a +100 green color filter. Gonna do some comparisons to see i am achieving the same effect. Thanks for this!
ОтветитьYeah, just gimme the preset 🙂
ОтветитьGreat educational channel. Love some of your editing techniques
ОтветитьThanks for this great lesson!
Bravo from Montréal, Canada! 📸❤️👍
great channel Mark. Love your approach - fast and yet clear, you touch on what you're doing with enough detail to allow the learner to grasp what you are doing - all in the service of making great images / art.
See you're up in Scotland from time to time - I love Glencoe ('I'm from the west coast), tho living in Dundee, am appreciating the east coast light!
Keep up the great work!
Why not just shoot in Monochrom? Saves a ton of time to get the same look.
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьMark, thanks so much!
ОтветитьThis is wild! Awesome technique and incredible results!
ОтветитьGreat!! Powerful!
Ответитьyes... the name of that preset is 100% accurate. I thought I would never nail the art of black&white editing. But with this... WOW. I guess I won't why away again if someone wants shots in b&w. Thanks so much for this!
