I'm gonna have to look into how to find one in the USA. I also wonder what country these people are in. Is it Russia, or somewhere in Europe maybe?

You realize the cat isn't behaving like that to be "cute" right? I know it's kind of cool to see these wild cats hiss and look defensive, but they aren't pretending. I'm not going to sit here and talk about how they should only be in the wild, I'm all for people having Caracals or Servals or whatever else as long as they can take care of them and give them what they really need. This girl is hissing to tell you to leave her alone because she's stressed/scared at the moment. I would recommend having a place she can get to that is only for her.. A place that she can go and hide and no one messes with her at all when she's there. It'll make her feel secure and like she has at least a little space of her own. I mean, we all need our alone time right? And these cats are well known for being solitary. I'm sure she would be forever grateful if you figured out a situation that will allow her to escape the world when she feels overwhelmed by everything. I think people should do this for domestic cats as well. I always have and they sure seem happy.

It could be a particular smell. Does Grandpa own any dogs? This happens with my cat and a friend of mine and it turns out it was because the cat was able to pick up the dog's scent on his clothes and that hade him hiss.
