it is the typical, beat by beat trash horror made for stupid teenagers

What was funny was the lady from the Texas chainsaw remake who dies 12 seconds into her decades-long endeavor to get “revenge” on the entity is what got me 😂😂😂

I don't understand how they continue to make horrible horror films when you have so many examples throughout the year on how to make a decent horror film. In no other genre is there this much GARBAGE! And would they stop with the PG-13 horror films! No Horror film should be any less than R-Rated.

Stupid movie. Fat face guy walking back to his apartment knowingly that danger awaits. The old lady should have followed them to burn the cards when they visited her why afterwards? What's the logic? Nobody walking around the streets, no police no elderly people, the apartments looks empty. Nonsense. They are all useless teenagers how come they live in their own apartments? Do they even own the apartments or have money to rent? Even their third friend who was killed by hangman just few minutes ago yet they never show any signs of genuine sympathy. Still walking as if nothing happened. I rank all if these clown actors 0 out of any number on any given time. The director made worse film I ever watched. Wasted my time!

Unfortunately, i guess, NOT every generation is as lucky as ours (well MINE for sure) where that means Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween 4 etc lol...... EVEN in books we had a kids version of Stephen King (R.L Stine Fear Street series THAN Goosebumps (when i was older but my kids LOVED it) AND a kid's Dean Koontz (Christopher Pike ❤❤) so we got out fix in the screen AND in the pages ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤

I saw this a few weeks ago and damn. I left the theater multiple times. The bar and soda fountain machines at the AMC theater had more value than the movie I paid 13 USD for. I cannot believe how bad horror films are these days. It's one of the worst things I've seen in some time. It started out ok but got worse, and worse. The ending was mind numbingly stupid.

This looks better than 'Imaginary' but that doesn't say much haha

The problem with movies like tarot and the strangers reboot is that they're so low budget that they always make money so they'll keep pumping them out itll never end

Just got done watching this movie, and not only is it the worst horror movie this year for me, but the worst movie I've seen all year, and I've seen MORE than my fair share this year. I struggled to get through it, just a lot of...eh!!!

I feel like this movie wasn't that bad. The monsters ere cool (except the magician because tf was that?) and for a pg13 the kills were decent. The plot was really eh to be fair. The Strangers Chapter 1 is a better choice when going to the theaters.

I liked the premise, but man it fell flat. But what really got me was HOW STUPID THEY ALL WERE. Told not to run? RUNS. Hiding from a killer? HIDES IN A LITERAL BOX. Need to stick together? NAH AMMA DIP FOR REASONS. And then there's the exposition character that was built up that is just useless in the end. They missed the mark in making this fun imo because they make it sound like they can twist their tarot readings to survive the ordeal, but we only see this literally off screen in a post credits scene. Otherwise, it's just ignored.

I saw this on my first date with my new love interest and she liked the movie I certainly wasnt going to tear it apart in front of her lol so I gave it a 1 star on Letterboxd instead lol cheers for making it blatantly obvious why this sucked so much, still Night Swim was much worse for me personally, that was my main fuck this movie experience so far this year but i downright refuse to sit through Madame Web lol

Abigail also sucked though..

Just came back from watching it with my grandma. We had fun watching it. We knew going in that it wasn't going to be a great or even a very good movie. So, I don't know if it was because my expectations were low or not, but we liked it. It was far from good, with subpar acting and lackluster script. But the concept was fun, and I loved the creature design and the cards.

Every year there’s a film that Cody just unloads on…love it!

Cody, you should seriously consider reviewing The Mask of Zorro. That movie is fantastic and severely underrated! I never hear anyone talk about it!

D'you know what, they went and deliberately made a shit horror movie, they seemed to have fun & took the piss while making this shit horror movie, and I liked that this movie didn't try to be anything outside the parameter of ....a shit horror movie.
I thought Night Swim was actually quite good.

The creature designs were cool. Aaaaand thats about it. I wish we could take the creature designs and give them to a competent direct like Del Toro

Idk if anyone is going to see this but The Hangman is just an asset flip from Until Dawn which is a Sony game and Tarot is a Sony movie. Found that absolutely hilarious.
