In highschool we had a Robotics magnet with sone very smart and crafty kids, they created some sort of program or system idk i wasnt in robotics lol, but they created something that would sidestep the funtion of the website Reading Plus where it would time out if you stopped moving your mouse. It was like 3 junior kids and they got suspended because a freshmen snitched on them. They werent able to circulate the program besides a few people but they never said who the people were and those people never mentioned it again. There was that scandal and the weed scandall. Hell of a school.

If there was a school for hackers I’d imagine it would be like a whole thing to try to make firewalls better then how well their classmates could hack. And even then most things important will be kept physical as a defense against that, lol.

According to my grandpa, back when they used the paper cards with the holes to run computer calculations, when the computers were the size of large rooms, the techs would occasionally have to open them up to check the wiring if a machine was messing up. It was not uncommon during those days that a literal bug had died in there and caused the computer to not work. Grandpa worked for a university. Think like the computer in the movie Hidden Figures.
