not sure what is more cringe, the music or the overly exaggerated celebration from people falling into water.

I know I’m a bit late to this but there were a few things I found quite interesting. The ski jumpers all wore helmets. Every single one.
I think there was only one freestyle diver that made a head first entry into the water. I don’t know how deep the diving well is but I applaud the fact that a feet first entry seemed to be what everyone did. I am certainly not saying there is no risk of injury hitting the water feet first because there obviously is. I watched my dad become a quadriplegic by gently rolling off a ladder rung into our backyard pool when I was 7 and he and I were the only people in the pool at that time. I can’t imagine how catastrophic an injury from a head first entry at that height could be. This was fun to watch and all of the divers and skiers were amazing 😊

Landing badly from that height is a brutal impact and could easily kill you from being knocked silly and then drowning.
