ОтветитьWhat flavour does air taste like?
ОтветитьSounded better tuned before you mess with micro tune…. Maybe that’s just me
ОтветитьGreat video!
Ответитьalways man...always🔥
ОтветитьWell done as always! Is this feature available only with the new 2.11?
Ответитьty Malo
Ответить👍🏾
ОтветитьThanks MaLo 👊🏾
ОтветитьAnother Great Video 🔥🔥…
ОтветитьFacts!!! I love Air Flavor. I put that *** on everything now LOL. The new update definitely makes it super easy to make key groups and quickly make key groups off a sample chop.
Ответитьthanks...great Video 👍🔥👍
ОтветитьUre awesome milo
ОтветитьGreat video bro! Keep up the great work 👍
ОтветитьHow you liking the mavis? I been thinking about it. Trying to get them neo soul/dilla sounding bass tones but not having any luck with the built-in plug-ins
ОтветитьMalo dropping more gems🔥🔥🔥 Akai is King!!
ОтветитьNice tips! For case like you show, where the source is a midi-capable instrument, try the auto sampler. Is one of the most amazing features of these modern mpcs.
ОтветитьMan, this is awesome Malo. You’re a great instructor, brother. If I need to know something quickly that will get me where I need to be, especially just really digging into learning the One, yours is the only channel I’m hitting. Thank you for your hard work and willingness, fam! Peace and love!
ОтветитьGreat Video , Can you do a Keygroup Assignment Video Sampling a Sound etc , then Play the sound from a MIDI Controller…. On Black and White Keys
And Show how to Spread a 808 drum Sound on a Keyboard Bed.. To create different Velocities options!
Hey Malo, i have the Moog Werkstatt-01 and i do the same thing...lol...awesome video as usual...
ОтветитьHi Malo. Thanks for this video. I'd better understand the difference between Keygroup and use 16level. I've got a question. Once you have a keygroup, can you use the note section to define scale, or chord or key (Gmin for example ;^) with the program of your keygroup ? Thanks again for all your tips and explanations about MPC. Take Care.
Ответитьthank you very much for your tutorial ~~~~
ОтветитьThanks for the vid! How do you know when to use key groups vs pad perform vs 16 level when creating a bass line that matches the beat?

ОтветитьThe Pete Rock style
ОтветитьCan someone help me out? I know how to create a keygroup from any 1 sample. I also know how to autosample via midi & audio cables. What if I have just TWO different WAV files for an external synth...the C2 note on one and C3 note on the other? I thought maybe create a keygroup from the C2 sample and then add C3 as layer 2 in Program Edit but that doesn't work because I don't want C2 and C3 to play at the same time.
When you create a keygroup from 1 sample, MPC pitches it up and down to make a keygroup. I want my C2 WAV to cover the C2 - C3 octave and then the C3 WAV to cover the C3 - C4 octave. I don't need below C2 or above C4.
So what do I do? How do I start? I can't find 1 YT video that shows this but it has to be possible! What is the correct way to take 2 different notes (1 wav file each) to create a good sounding keygroup? I know I can just create a keygroup from 1 of the notes but I have to believe that adding the 2nd note (or more) will give a better sound. If anyone can walk me through it step by step I'd really appreciate it!
Thank you. Great little tutorial on keygroups, and answered my question for me right at the end - why not use 16 levels? Grid edit. Gotya!
ОтветитьExcellent presentation , I really needed to learn this key groups technique as I am fumbling along on learning MPC Live 2 . Thanks again.
ОтветитьGreat video ! And the Mavis is a very good choice for a nice bass.
Also, man you are going to LOVE the autosampler in there. It wil actually automatically sample whatever external synth you have and create a keygroup with the sampled notes.
Takes a couple of minutes and then you can focus on sound design !
I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this. I use it slightly differently, but man the key group is dope!
ОтветитьYou didn’t show how to put it in key
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьMan did I need this video
ОтветитьI’m just learning about keygroup hoping you make more on this subject
ОтветитьDidn’t know it was that simple. I’ve been using 16 levés as well.
ОтветитьAre you running the Mavis in the phono or line? When I run it in at line level it’s way to quiet.
ОтветитьLearning so much about my MPC with your videos. Thank you. 🙏🏻
ОтветитьHell yeah, this video helped a lot. Thank you. Unrelated question, but related. When I try to use just one sample out of an expansion pack, I get an error message saying, sample exists, and I can either replace it, or cancel. Am I not able to use just one Lil sample from a pack? Is it a workflow issue I'm doing?
ОтветитьIs it possibile to take a sample and then chromatically play it, but in a certain scale? Thanks
ОтветитьGood tutorial, but you did put the bass super flat in comparison to the backing loop. :) It was very close in the first place.
ОтветитьSuch clear content bro, thank you!!
ОтветитьThanks 🙏🏽
ОтветитьQuestion! Ive installed the the MPC Software to my win PC. Using a 3rd party vst instrument, I can not figure out how to set the pads to not play chords so I can use my Native Battery sample kits. I don't know if you know what Battery is basically its a vst that has 16 pads and you apply what every instrument you want to each pads. And the MPC keeps playing chords/multiple pads when I hit just one pad. For example it will pad 1-3-5 at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. I can find any info on this. Probably because I have no clue how to ask this question in short terms
Ответитьthank u for advice with keygroup ! its so easy now and better then 16 lvl tune :) peace !
ОтветитьYou could also use auto sampler instead which is better because you can have your moog synth in your MPC 😁👍🏽
ОтветитьCan you take a few samples at say octave intervals to have a more accurate representation of the sampled synth ?
ОтветитьMan ! at the same time you teach good stuff.. You Talk too much... U Could talk less details
