sir i have a website hosted on myshopmatic but that does not support blogs. so i have created a subdomain for blogs. can i host that subdomain on another hosting site like shopify or dukaan who allow blogs. that subdomain will only be used for blogs. is it possible to use subdomain as a domain of its own?

You are saying that we should add it as a A record but you yourself adding it as CNAME. Guys in order to Godaddy's official site you should use A record and as the value field you should use the ip adress of the domain
