Unless it's an iconic weapon, don't craft a weapon. Unless it's an iconic weapon, don't invest components in upgrading. You'll pick up guns while playing, and they'll get better as you level up. Some weapons will have mods and scopes attached, which will make them better than one unequipped. But you're going to be picking up mods and scopes all over. When you pick up an iconic weapon, start upgrading it ASAP. Because you can't buy components, you either have to pick them up or convert weapons, clothing, and junk that you find.

One question, if u disassemble items that have mods do u get the mods?

So you automatically knows how to craft everything as soon as you get the blueprints without spending any attribute points into tech?

i just come back to this game and a lot have change. so all the money i waste buying blueprint is pointless then. fkk. atleast they should reduce the price of blueprint since it just better to buy a gun out right. why the same price?

i came here to find out to find out how to disassemble a gun in 2.0 cause i cant do it, either armor or guns i cant disassemble. can anybody tell me? is it a skill? if it is then i cant find it?

I wish they didn’t change the modifications on the iconic weapons you can’t even add anything anymore that’s the only problem I got

Is there an easy way to farm crafting components besides killing random gang bangers and scrapping their guns for hours on end, Or paying out the arse for the higher tier weapons clothes and junk to scrap? I started a new playthrough and I’ve killed enough dudes to reach street cred level 50 while scrapping their guns the whole time… And I barely had enough components to upgrade satori from green to blue.

New system is definitely an updraft but we need a better way to get components.

one minor thing on the quickhacks - although the vendors do seem to sell some of the low level crafting specs, I got all my quickhack crafting specs from doing the breach protocol minigame (the one where you have to pick the codes in the right order). The quality seems to be tied to your cyberdeck level - once I upgraded to a tier 3 deck, I started seeing tier 3 recipes more frequently, same with tier 4 and 5. If you are going hacker build, be sure to upgrade your cyberdeck asap and hack every terminal you see.

Remember when you could just buy quick hacks at decent prices, now the specs are decent prices and hacks are overpriced.......and never bothered with crafting because there were shops to buy everything like dafuq, crafting should be a intelligence skill for upgrades, ammo etc otherwise if you can craft everything from looting and dismantling what's the point in the vendors........

How do you get lvl 5++ stuff? I only get lvl 5+

I notice that you have the grenade blueprint for, at least, the Ozob's Nose grenade. All of my grenade blueprints disappeared (including Ozob's Nose). I still have a list of grenades I can equip, and Ozob's Nose is on that list. Just no blueprint.
What's going on with that?

So then what exactly is the difference between an iconic or legendary or common weapon? Because if I remember correctly, if I go to sell like a common or uncommon or whatever, it will ask me if I'm sure, just like it does with iconic. Should I sell every weapon I pick up unless it's iconic or I'm using it?

I actually dont want to buy the game now because there is no randomization. I think i will buy it if it ever is 90% on sale for like 10 bucks

is it me or severance mod is very weak among others? I mean yeah %20 instakill is very good but it only works below %50 hp and if an enemy is below %50 hp you will probably kill it on the next attack. Katanas usually kills in 2 or 3 hits and even adding %20 instakill below %50 doesn't mean anything because that attack will kill anyway.

The biggest problem I’m having now is with the lack of modularity with Legendary sniper rifles, and the scopes they give you default in the game are ridiculously bad. And the glare in the scopes, especially with the overwatch sniper rifle is so ridiculous, it becomes unusable, and you can’t shoot through walls or containers, while the AI once it has targeted you can shoot through walls and containers!😂 So I reduced the crazy glare levels somewhat with using Reshade to dial down the bloom effects, and I installed a scope mod that allows for better zoom in sniper scopes, but it doesn’t fix the scope problem on Legendary weapons where you can’t swap out the scope or change mods, like the Overwatch, and the Breakthrough, which are the two best rifles in the game. All of these problems become glaringly obvious during your raid of Arasaka Industrial in the Gimme Danger Takemura mission. Here sniping is critical and all of these flaws become glaringly obvious.

anyone know why i cant upgrade my satori from tier 5+ to tier 5++? the upgrade just says upgrade from tier 5+ to tier 5+

idk the other system was extremely complicated but the new system feels like its too rough in the beginning like cyberpsychos are a nightmare early game

But you no longer need to acquire perks to upgrade weapons of higher quality anymore ? Like artisan perk in tech ? Do you still get crafting unlockables like the red netrunner suit etc while progression on crafting? Anyone ?

There are iconic variants of regular weapons that just let you upgrade them like iconics and to be modded. Not sure if there is one for every weapon but I've found a few so far.

I own legendary specs but dont see them, how do I see them?

I play on xbox series X and i have bug i guess, i have my iconic knife and katana on tier 5+ and it shows that i can upgrade both of them for 200 gold components, but their stats doesnt change after all, it still shows they are tier 5+ instead of 5++ and stats are still the same but im still losing 200 components. Im wondering if its only a visual bug or maybe my game is broken :(

So out of curiosity a weapon like the Fenrir before had a chance to set people on fire does it have that ability still

I'm running a specific build around the DB-2 Satara (as the only Tech Shotgun in the game) and having to wait for a 5+/5++ drop is going to be rough

How do you get crafting spec for normal weapon? Vendors only sell crappy ones

I was lvl 45 when i tried upgrading a weapon for the first time and i didnt even had enough components for a single one. Even after dismembering a lot of legendaries. From a dmg point speaking i dont feel like i need upgrades at all, i still use the supressed overwatch that only has like 100 base dmg, but with all the headshot multipliers it still oneshots most enemies.

They've made it impossible to craft quick hack components. They're so rare now

Kinda dumb that it doesn't allow you to upgraded crafted non-iconic Tier 5 weapons to Tier 5++

I was obssesed with crafting at 1.5 got my gun stats upgraded to oblivion. I have absolutely no clue how do I spec now when crafting is dead.

When I go to upgrade to tier 5++ it just says it's upgrading to tier 5+ again lmao I'm level 58.

So do weapons not scale with you as you level up? Because I like the iconic blade I’m using but I fear it’ll grow behind on stats later
