Great advice. Subscribed.
ОтветитьBy far the most idiotic guy, who does not give the credit to the viewers at all ! I never knew, that the parking brake works the way you have to pull upwards ...... Really ??? Stupid information of the oil level, you get all you need immediatly when you sit in and turn the ignition on. Generally this vid is a wasted time !!! Very irritating !
ОтветитьI don't own a Sprinter, but it strikes me as over engineered, violates the K.I.S.S. principle, and because of the added complexity, introduces potential future points of failure.
The automated oil level indicator is proven useless, and could be replaced by a low oil dummy light/indicator for a fraction of total ownership cost. A MB bean counter thought they could save $5 in Build Of Materials cost, which in reality just added $30 of after market cost to the owner. 🤑
Useful information and greatly appreciated - well presented. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI’m planning to get a used sprinter. Hope it has a dipstick. I learned that ‘too much oil’ thing with a Subaru Legacy.
ОтветитьI have just gotten 2024 170 AWD and to disconect you need to wait 20 min just an FYI
ОтветитьMercedes is the most expensive place to have your vehicles serviced. My 2010 Sprinter has that dipstick.
ОтветитьAwesome video, thank you SO much.
ОтветитьYou forgot the number 1 thing. Good luck with the DEF system that will give you issues, fail, have to be replaced & cost a fortune out of warranty. lol
ОтветитьI’m so glad you addressed that confusing parking brake! So many times I would start backing out with the brake on thinking it was off! Yikes!
ОтветитьThanks for the many great videos.
I just bought a sprinter for the first time last month, a 2008 144” RWD 2500.
I am lying in bed recovering from a surgery, watching your videos, hoping these tips and parts you sell apply to my van :-).
Great video, and it's very informative!
ОтветитьTerrific video by a terrific advocate of quality. Thanks for your wonderful products and that fact that you obviously want to impart important and useful information to Sprinter owners.
ОтветитьMine has both a dip stick and digital readout.
ОтветитьGood information. If I ever get a Sprinter van I’ll understand it better but right now I have a 2020 Ford high roof with egoboost and AWD and I like it.
ОтветитьSprinter $100k (dipstick not included can be purchased separately)
Amazing.
Vehicle manufacturers getting rid of oil dip sticks was a crazy move.
ОтветитьSprinters are junk. Stay away! Faulty DEF system, Nox sensors, and also you can’t even idle them. If you let them idle they break.
ОтветитьGreat simple vid. Now I finally know where to put that key. wow. Fun fact, my 22' 170 GASOLINE Sprinter came with a dip stick. Weird. BTW, so happy you are in Mesa, AZ. Cheers.
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьI'm not sure why Mercedes cheaps out with the dipsticks. They put in the tube, just include the damn stick too. Idiocy. My 20 yr old S-Class didn't come with a dipstick either, had to buy one. Moronic.
ОтветитьGood videos, thinking about a 2.7 2003 that needs work. but it is the airstream version. has 250k
ОтветитьMate your a legend!! Excellent video 😊
ОтветитьGreat vid just purchased a 4x4 sprinter great info you shared Thank You
ОтветитьWhy does every sensor on sprinters fail. Mercedes is ripping people off charging $450 to $2000 to replace the tire sensor, the brake sensor, egr valve sensors.
ОтветитьMB went to ahit compared to pre80 vehicles
ОтветитьBeing wlecteical eng dip stick is more relialble bad connect low voltage bad sensor or bad ground also faulty morher board
ОтветитьThis guy looks and sounds like some arrogant little rich daddies boy.
Ответитьwhy not just make a pedal parking brake,....problem solved forever
Ответитьwhat should a person do if the van is underpowered ?
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьHi John, Thanks for the video. I have had the issue with the electronic oil level, placing the key in it's slot, the parking brake issue and omg the center speaker 🤦♂. FYI, when you call the MB dealer they ask for the last 8 of the vin, they look it and then tell you the vehicle doesn't have a place for a oil dip stick. I ordered one from you'all. Also, where did you get the bar on the dash you have the Garmin Overland GPS attached.
ОтветитьHow do you have your Garmin powered up.

ОтветитьService for Mercedes is way too expensive...
ОтветитьNice vid, thanks. Happier than ever with my simple 2014 4-cylinder 7 speed. Now, if we could only (legally) eliminate the useless DEF/DPF system!
ОтветитьI have the 2019 winnebago navion and is there a way to make back up camera work while towing? Why they made it only for back.up when there is no rear view is beyond me. Thx Mike
ОтветитьWhat tablet is that?
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks
ОтветитьBy far the most informative platform out there. You guys are crushing it.
ОтветитьGreat video! Why would they put a manual in park break when all other Mercedes / car brands have electric now anyway ? Serious question
ОтветитьWow press the button and the emergency brake goes off that’s just fucking genius who could’ve ever thought of that😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьYou're a treasure to us van owners. Thanks

ОтветитьThe parking break over engineering part was so retarded to me. My mind literally was like bro Mercedes already had the answer in 2010, have a foot push parking brake with the release button nearby. Tf they do all that for? 😂
ОтветитьI have a 2018 2500 and can't seem to find the dipstick tube you show in the video, nor is the Internet any help. Is there already a dipstick somewhere - is the tube in a different location?? Thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьIt sucks???😂
