i5-13500h vs i7-1355u which is better guysss?
Ответитьi5 1335u or i5 1240p ?
ОтветитьWhat about i3 and i5?
Nice video👍
Flawed test, because you're trying to make a video of I5 vs I7, yet when it comes to temperature (which can result in CPU throttling), you're measuring 100C, but you fail to mention that you measure this on a laptop, you don't get such a high temperature in a desktop PC that has far better cooling and larger internal air mass.
ОтветитьWhy do people tell me that i7 processors get hot and then throttle to i5 speeds?... Any thoughts?...
ОтветитьI am in the market for a desktop, not a laptop. Are results similar?
ОтветитьYou can do not only basic but also advanced video editing on the iris xe igpus thats literally the reason for their existence besides the uhd series
ОтветитьWhat about the i5 12500h? It looks better than the i7 1260p.
ОтветитьUpon Dell support telling me that my Java needed upgrading after telling them that the numeric processing failed a simple test, I have never considered a Dell, again.
ОтветитьDo you think I can apply there resilts for 13th gen
ОтветитьJosh! :) Can't wait for comparisons with intel meteor lake laptops, I've heard good things about them.
PS: you forgot to hypothesize why the i7 performed especially in battery life. OR did i miss something?
If you buy an ultraportable like the xps 13 or gram there are very few reasons to go for Intel these days. For the average user amds mobile chips like the 6800u or the 7840u offer better multicore and better sustained performance than the intel counterparts. Intel only wins in short term single core boosts which the cooling in these machines cant handle for long. As far as integrated gpus go its not even a contest. Even the mid range AMD options like the 660m in the 6600u outperforms every integrated intel gpu. In addition and maybe most importantly for many amd also consumes less power and offers better battery life. There are some tasks where Intel chips have integrated hardware support and perform better while using less power. But a majority of people using those applications are probably well aware of that. For everyday usage like browsing, office or some light gaming AMDs offers are all around better. And interestingly enough AMD systems are usually significantly cheaper
Ответить👍🏽Thanks a lot...I can now save my coins! No point in spending $216 for a 3%-7% difference; besides I'm not an gamer.
ОтветитьWhich has the most powerful Iris GPU? H series HD graphics is better than Iris?
ОтветитьI recently bought an Acer Aspire 5, i-5, with Iris Graphics and a 14" display. It came with 8 GB of DDR 4 RAM. I immediately upgraded 1st to 12 GB and then to 20 GB of RAM. And I installed 1TB SATA SSD. The laptop boots to Log-In screen in 10 seconds. With 12 GB of RAM Windows Performance Monitor showed 45% of resources used at idle. Now with 20 GB or RAM, Performance Monitor shows only 25% of resources used. At any rate, it does everything that I could ask of it, even in two different languages. Cheers. I like my Core i-5.
ОтветитьPolice Academy!
ОтветитьGet a good USB 3, docking station, and a dorm fridge. Punch a hole through the side of the fridge, and run the cord to the docking station. If the laptop generates heat the fridge cools it off. You can run the machine as hardcore as the settings let you, and grind some data.
ОтветитьTDP is everything.
ОтветитьPlease do this review for 13th gen too. There are rumers that says 13th gen processors use more power.
Ответитьgod video!
ОтветитьShould i get a i5 H processor or a i7 P processor?
ОтветитьNow try playing games with them. You will be shocked too.
ОтветитьPerformance difference 10%-20% percent? Consider me NOT shocked. Anyway, who cares about performance in ultrabooks? Hopefully no one. Cause that'd mean that someone bought wrong laptop type for himself. Personally, I'm using gaming laptops as a workstation for myself, because they have 45W CPUs and decent cooling.
Ответить"the virus" Hahahahaaaa 🤣
ОтветитьThis video was very helpful and made a direct impact on my considerations.
ОтветитьWould you say the same things comparing the i5 versus i7 chips if in the much larger xps 17's instead of these xps 13's?
Ответить"kayssh" 😂
Ответитьi5 Vs i7 (P Series) 13th gen 🙏🏻
ОтветитьIs it better to get the i7-1260p with iris Xe or an i5-1240p with mx570 for the same price?
ОтветитьId love to see this comparison between the 1260 and the 1360 👀
ОтветитьThis is a good discussion, I've heard the thermal throttling negates the difference in performance pretty quickly. I have a ThinkPad Extreme gen 2 with an i5, and it seems kind of slow. But I have an Asus with a Ryzen 7 which makes everything else seem slow.
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on the 1270p processor? I ordered Dell XPS 13 plus 1270p, 32gb ram, and 1tb, windows 11. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video, said what needed to be said and no bullsh*t, Subbed👍
Ответитьdid you investigate the battery difference any further then running the test again? feels very odd that 2 supposedly identical battery's can preform so differently even with the upgraded cpu
ОтветитьIn many cases the i7 will do about 25-33% better than a i5, but only if you load up all the cores with back to back work. And that does not happen most of the time.
Single core or "few" core performance ends up often being the same between the i5 and i7.
Save your money.
Also, I see DELL here. Get 8GB and 2x16GB sticks elsewhere, and you end up with 32 gigs for the price of 16, lol.
Why the lower performance CPU would use more energy? The have the same battery size.
Ответитьthose benchmarks only run for a few minutes, so you're not really stressing the processors long enough to produce thermal throttling which is the bane of all laptops. Add the fact that people dont only use them on hard surfacetops, you're testing cannot be extrapolated to real world
ОтветитьThis video shows that Apple's M series chips are the best chips for laptop right now. Powerful and energy efficient!
ОтветитьHi, what will be the trade off, battery consumptionn / process performance, of i7U VS i7P?
ОтветитьThe equation changes when you are looking at a $465 recertified Acer 1240p vs $700 for a 1260p laptop.
ОтветитьYou are using Dell XPS 13 Plus in your demo of i5 Vs i7. While 12th Gen i5 has comparable performance to i7, you don't get 32GB RAM with i5 in Dell XPS 13 Plus and you cannot upgrade it later as the RAM is soldered on the mainboard.
ОтветитьI'm on the fence with lg gram, go with i5 or i7???
ОтветитьGood sound checks to show us the difference, but I had a much bigger problem than this , ordering from Dell Direct my order kept being delayed five weeks in total and was sold out on the site yet one week after cancelling it was for sale again but £200 more expencive, cannot understand Dell s policy on sale s ???? So to cut a long story short after 3 x Dell s I am now the owner of an Acer Nitro intel i7 - 15.6 screen - 3060 graphics after intels i5 yes there are big improvements and whilst I may never do hard core gaming my pc is very capable , so impressed so far.
ОтветитьThis is the question you need to answer on every intel generation.
Power: Performance
Weight
Build quality
Hot or cold temps to use
Battery life
Great work!
In real world experience there will no noticeble difference... So 150 bucks could be spend so much better
