We had been playing without a proper defensive midfielder for about 3 years. This guy left a big hole in our midfield which I am glad Casemiro filled successfully.

Was one of my favorite players let down by the club

The complete midfielder who worked super hard for the team and could pass like crazy. He also defended like it was a condition to play the next game. Goals, assists, deep runs, late runs, tackles, progressive passes, mentality... Herrera ticked all the boxes.
