My first iPhone was the iPhone 2g I got one in 2011 but it had dead pixels in the screen and the back was not original it was an aftermarket green one but then I got a mint iPhone 3g and I rocked that thing till it literally was no longer supported by Apple I absolutely loved it
ОтветитьYeah I bought a 3G and loved it for about 6 months, then they brought out the 3GS and iOS 4 and my 3G was basically unusable because it was so slow and laggy, I was pretty pissed since I had 18 months left on my contract.
I never got another one, I went to android and never looked back
The iPhone 3G was my first apple device I ever got. It was my old iPod, and my sisters old iPod. I lost it back in 2014, I found it back in 2021. I still have it till this day.
Ответить14 and 14 Plus has entered the chat 📱
ОтветитьThis was the first I ever used and I remember being so fascinated over its camera, web browser, and games pacifically. I used till I got a pc then I used that and now I have an iPhone 11
ОтветитьRememberable for me, my first iPhone when I was 15 back on 2.2.1!
ОтветитьYes, it is amazing to think that this older iPhone 3G was "new tech". And of course one would overlook it as it seems to be the "stepchild" between the original 2G and what I consider the handsome iPhone 4. I have collected all of them and slam or no slam they all served their purpose ..... made Apple a TON of money for starters! :-)
ОтветитьActually, the iPhone 3G came out in 2009
Ответитьand how much you use it for now
ОтветитьI don’t see it as forgettable at all, as it brought 3G network and Apple Store, which led to a much higher panel of apps and usages of the phone.
If iPhone 2g was a revolution I’d say 3g was a mini revolution. It’s only been downside from there imho. 3g in 2008 was much more impressive than 14 in 2022 or any other iPhone when they were released (bar the original one ofc).
iPhone 3g widened the possibilities to a level we haven’t seen ever since.
I noticed you never did a review on the iPad mini 3rd generation. I searched for it and it doesn’t exist.
Ответить“Most forgettable iphone.” Yea right. This was the most memorable one, because it was affordable. And it was right at the turn of when smartphones were starting to become mainstream. It was my first iphone, had just gotten back from over seas, and it felt like the future was here.
ОтветитьWhy do you sound like Paul Rudd? Lol
ОтветитьWhat an ugly phone
ОтветитьNot forgettable if it was your first! I loved that thing
ОтветитьI'm not sure if it is still a thing but, you were able to downgrade to iPhoneOS 3.2.2 officially with iTunes even years after iOS 4 came out. This was because Apple had actually lost a legal battle with a customer over making her phone unusable because of a forced update(iOS4) Later Apple officially allowed people to downgrade their iPhone 3G to bring it back to the speed it was when they bought it, if they wanted to.
ОтветитьSTOOPID IPHONE!!!!
ОтветитьMINE GOT RUN OVER BY A HEAVY VEHICLE AND THE SCREEN SHATTERED
ОтветитьThe 3GS and 5C were the only iPhones I felt comfortable using without a case
ОтветитьMy first iPhone was the 3G
ОтветитьMy brother gave me his iPhone 3G that I could use as an iPod touch back in 2011 and I love that little thing so much
ОтветитьSir please give away
ОтветитьYou forgot to say, “And is it still worth buying?”
ОтветитьHardly forgettable when it was the first affordable iPhone. This was $99 on contact or £49 on contract in the UK. Without it the iPhone would've remained a niche product. It possibly was more influential the the OG iPhone in that respect.
Ответитьthe only reason i remember this phone is because it was my dad's first (and last) iPhone as well as his first smartphone and i remember playing on it from time to time and accidentally sending gibberish to my father's contacts (i was 5 when the 3G came out)
ОтветитьThis was my favorite iPhone because it was my first iPhone. I was really unlucky at the time because this phone was stolen while at a restaurant, then my next iPhone, the 4, was stolen out of my girlfriends car. RIP you two glorious pieces of tech.
ОтветитьMy first iPhone. Just looking at it again gives me nostalgia
Ответитьthe iPhone 3G is not forgettable for me because it was the first iPhone to be released in Switzerland and I remember my father lending it to me when I was 4 years old and taking disgusting photos with it and everyone was looking at me strangely this saying "the little one is 4 years old and he has an iPhone" and for me it is good memories
Ответитьstill using my iphone 3g!
ОтветитьLOL forget??? NO way it was an awesome phone and my first iPhone.. the 4 is totally forgettable to me
ОтветитьA while argo I ordered an iphone 3GS from marketplace and i got scammed :/
ОтветитьHad it till 2018, it was the slowest iPhone on its last iOS version, 4.2.1…
It could barely open a website
Many people still remember the iPhone 3G.
ОтветитьGcN
Ответитьthe difference from 3g and 3gs is the lettering is silvered out also
ОтветитьHey,bro not to lie but no one was expecting touch screens and great quality pictures back in 2008.I’m was shocked when I saw the quality of the iphone 3G at taking pics it was sooooo good dude like back in 2008 I would rate it a 100/10 well it is also giving a automatic portrait mode and also a vintage kind of view so a 10/10 if I was in 2008. Anyways it was an amazing video I could see the quality of the camera of iPhone 3G thanx.
Love
Pk
can you have spotify on this phone?
ОтветитьI actually remember friends talked about it back then. I was 10 years old.
My first experience with an iPhone in person was with the iPhone 3GS at a local store back then, though. Although I had the iPod Touch 2g back then, I instantly fell in love with the iPhone. I remember me getting blown away by the cameras, the fact that it had microphone (so I could imagine the things I could do with it) and the compass and GPS! I was visiting the store regularly to play with the iPhone! I remember them having it in a special spot, separate from the other smartphones!
Had the iPhone 1 / 3G / 3Gs / 4S / androids / androids / prior to that had Treo phones / now added an iPhone 13 Pro-Max along with current Samsung Galaxy. Like Android a LOT more. Also, iPhone 1, i bought a leather Piel Frama leather case. Also we all jailbroke the ish out of it. Added video and copy paste.
- Very needed. Finally, super old here, first cell phone was in 1998, Motorola Star Tac flip, still my fave, still own it. Can't use it.
A pretty horrible excuse of an iPhone.
ОтветитьMy iPhone 3G S works great on iOS 4.3.3
ОтветитьIt's weird that iPhone 2 was skipped
ОтветитьI have a 3G
Ответитьi still have mine, use it as a ipod, works great
ОтветитьSurely moving to 3G is a big deal
