Well said! I've been vegan over 16 years, my only regret, is not doing it much sooner.

People easily get fooled when it comes to veganism and vegetarianism, because it is a complex, multi layered subject, with players who, for economic and other unkind reasons, want us to become vegans.

Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and BDA are not telling us the truth about what we as human beings need when it comes to food. That we do not need food from animals is a scientific lie. The human species developed over many thousands of years on animal foods and need them to thrive over generations. Some people get ill in a week without meat, for some people it takes longer.

Vegetable foods simply can not give humans all the necessary nutrients. Foods from animals that have been raised kindly without suffering and naturally, without toxins, can, though.

We have to understand what this question is really about:

If humans stop eating foods from animals, we will as a species degenerate over time, both intellectually and physically. I would never advise a woman, who was planning to become or already were pregnant, to avoid high quality animal foods. That would feel like advising her to smoke.

Good animal foods, from animals that have been raised kindly without suffering and naturally, without toxins:

Meat + entrails + bone broth
Wild caught fish + roe
Dairy products from unpasteurized, unheated natural milk
Eggs

I’m a chef, not a vegan. I have grown to dislike vegans, and I have grown to dislike how we incubate. There is a down side to both. And feel me when I say this… we need to eat just like like every other living organism does. We evolve, we adapt, we live, we die. Death is always in the equation and there is always going to be a superior. We are blessed to make these decisions to choose our own diet as an individual and I respect that. Just keep it to yourself and go to restaurants that have options for you instead of bashing those who don’t. So let the person next to you eat what they want and stop shoving your beliefs onto another. Just band together and have your own restaurant chain or something? Be independent from the normal food consuming world and stay out of ours maybe you can make a difference.

I have a question for animal activist. Suppose suddenly society was persuaded of your view. What plan do you have for the hundreds of millions of animals which would be liberated to what? The wild? Starvation, shocking deaths by the millions. What's your vision of all agree with you?

As a wildlife professional either way you are ill affecting life, and people living in a rural setting subsist on animal protein. This seems like a city issue were people have the luxury to afford the alternative. Not saying veganism is wrong it's just that each person lives a unique life, so forcing perspective on others is just obtuse to me. As a hunter, I strive to pay the utmost respect to my prey and I appreciate everything they did up to the point of the kill.

Oh yeah right God created animals that savage each others flesh and bone without a thought, but it is a 'sin' if a human partake in the food chain.

Why do Vegan's have such a problem with Predation?it's part of every part of the food chain. you telling me its not morally right. If its there living Conditions before there slaughtered. yes he should value there life up to the point there needed.

In order to fully consider veganism, you have to consider the ethical conundrum and massive environmental degradation through tillage, monocropping, pesticides, herbicides, soil runoff and destruction, and artificial fertilization. Veganism destroys entire ecosystems. Vegans love to ignore the more nuanced discussions on the topic. Regenerative farming is the only ethical solution when it comes to environment and protecting habitats. Regenerative farming is only possible with livestock.

I eat almost exclusively animal products because it’s healthier for humans based on more than 3 million years of evolution, and it’s vastly more ethical when done correctly.

There are a lot of wrong things, lies and irrational arguments 🤦🏼‍♂️
