Thanks bro , Also note that i have had my nexus in my D drive ( because i wanted to keep my C drive clean) but after uninstalling nexus and reinstalling it i just let it install on C program files 86 and ran as administrator as you said , and restarted my pc and it worked

thank you, it helped. the only thing is that i didn't even restart my laptop, i just turned it off and back.

What fixed it for me was restarting my pc. Dont turn it off and turn it back on, actually click restart pc.
