He has know idea what he's talking about. Look at him mincing around is it a home computer or not, a computer you can have a relationship with and then throw it out the window because it costs $12. If it wasnt apple it would something else, if it wasnt Jobs it would have been someone else.

I can only imagine how great this man's parents were and how wonderful his upbringing was, nature and nurture coming together in harmony.

So from the freedom envisaged in the personal computer back then, we have now so fully integrated our PC's, laptops, handhelds and other electronic devices into the internet that they really are just terminals for one global network mostly useless disconnected.

The best takeaway for me is at the end: "how do you build an executive core around a company like this, obviously you and your partners had to take an awful lot of responsibilities." Steve: "Well one of the things that we always did was we tried to hire somebody who was better than us in a particular thing, that's still my greatest job around here. So you try to hire just really outstanding people that are much too senior for the current job you have, but you know you're planning to grow so fast that in six months the job is just right for them, and in a year they're scrambling to keep up with it."
