I feel like the reason Penelope cried was because the decision was made without her being involved. It was overwhelming for because it was so sudden and it was kept a secret to her, when her aunts knew. I feel like you can't just plan an entire engagement for someone knowing they have kids and it'll effect them, and not have them involved. Had they actually included the kids in making the decision and helping plan the engagement the kids would all feel more involved, like they're voice and opinion matter. (I am no phycologist, this is just what I think)

As a reviewer to see kids to be excluded that is a way that can be emotionally scaring for kids that's in a co parent relationship . Yet to be in a relation that is if Travis is called away on cert tour all kids need to be able to accept each other . And to let Kourtney's children know Kravis to let them know who he is you can have one person controlling a family that is a unhealthy relationship . To see a child cry is that a sure sign that children can sense anger and rage kids need to be feel welcomed into a new marriage it will give them time to be with their mother and ease into knowing the new father .

When we were little, my mom remarried. When she told us about our new step dad, my lil sister reacted just like kourtney’s kids. It’s totally normal. Many years later, we are all a happy family. I think the best decision if they could not have kourtney's kids there because it was scott's weekend with them and didnt want to create drama with scott they should not have had travis' kids there either and then have a reveal to all the kids once they got back home!! It wont last anyway because travis will reach his breaking point with that monster kris jenner! It was inconsiderate to scott not disclosing the intention of proposal seeing as he IS the father of kourtney's kids but they dont have faith in him to not cause a scene!!! I mean they are the closest family he has. After all this time scott has become their family. I saw something uncomfortable when they knew they were wrong about excluding the kids and tried persuading Kourtney how the kids were too young which is strange because it was an engagement the kids have been around worse things I’m sure . Sorry Kort but 2 years ago privacy was so important. Now you allow a PARTY to show off an engagement. Is a sensitive thing for children involved. As a child with divocred parents, I think they shoulve gotten engaged, told ALL of the kids under a calm quite dinner, taken their time to process(weeks to months) THEN had a party with the kids. Kourt for sure have the right to find new love and be happy with Travis as she seems. But remember that Scott and her used to hang out a lot in front of the kids so they adjusting.
