The weekend curfew has been lifted in Delhi and the odd-even system for shops has been removed. The decision to revise COVID-19 restrictions was taken after the Delhi Disaster Management Authority held a crucial meeting chaired by Delhi L-G Anil Baijal and attended by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Restaurants, pubs, and cinema halls in the national capital can now operate at 50% capacity. All educational institutions will stay closed until the next DDMA meeting, when a decision to reopen them will be made. For a few more days, the night curfew will be enforced. The maximum number of guests allowed at weddings has been increased from 50 to 200. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the covid situation was under control and the positivity rate in Delhi is expected to fall to 10% today. Watch for more details.
