No offense, but what tofu do you eat that only has 7 grams of protein per 100g?? Mine has 15,4 g of protein per 100g. I live in Germany and use firm tofu.
ОтветитьRegarding the miso soup - if you boil the miso you kill the live bacteria which is the aspect of miso that is so beneficial. It is suggested that you do not boil water with miso in it but rather add the miso right before consuming. That same principle applies to all foods containing live bacteria for optimum gut health.
ОтветитьMaybe Japan could save the world? Could the East have a positive impact on the health of the west?
ОтветитьMiso, natto, Umeboshi, ginger, tofu, Nama shoyu.

ОтветитьI am British and enjoy natto :) most of my friends think it is gross but i found that it was more palatable for them when eaten with avocado and a little bit of lemon juice. But i eat it out of the packet :) yummy:)
ОтветитьI recently bought some Umeboshi paste. Can you please give me some advice as to how I can utilize it?
Ответитьif we are talking about just elongating lifespan then the most important thing japanese do with their food is not eating too much of it.
was it okinawan saying? to eat to 80% full, that's the most super food japan has

I wish I didn't hate the taste and texture of natto so much. It seems so helpful. I do love miso and umeboshi, however. And I adore matcha, so much. The smell alone is soothing.

I actually really like natto and need to start making it again. 👍

Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьHi, where we can buy hizou denrai and matcha gokoru? I’ll go to Japan next week 🙏🏻
ОтветитьFactory miso, natto, ume etc is not healthy. It's stored in PFAS Styrofoam containers, not naturally fermented, contains MSG. I bought the Vermicular to make my own natto and order doenjang fr Korea, naturally fermented in the onggi pots. Sadly HMart only has factory stuff in the US
ОтветитьInteresting info
I'ma stick to baked beans pork chops & tortillas with some fruits like strawberries, bananas, peaches, watermelon
rice beans fish fruit
ОтветитьMy grandmother drank rhum coke every night, smoked tobacco (no filter), didn't need glasses (she played mahjong daily), and still had her orig teeth, all until she died at 99yo cos she fell and broke her hip. 😢 she would have lived till 100+ God rest her soul. She lived in northern Philippines where we eat pinakbet (local veggies) with fermented fish. 🇵🇭
ОтветитьAll of those foods are on my " will devour" list except Natto. ( largely because I haven't tried it yet.) Also, joke's on whomever serves me more Umeboshi then rice, i love those things. XD
ОтветитьIs this Shogo?
ОтветитьMégsem tetszik a hierarchia, a szemétgyártás, vásárlás mánia, a behódolás és túlterhelés. Minden területnek megvannak a saját egészséges ételei, lehet inkább azért élnek tovább a japánok, mert jobban tűrik a stresszt.
Ответитьi love natto too bad I have to go to Phoenix to buy more, it is not available where I live Prescott.
ОтветитьI imagine it’s also because the Japanese seem to also eat lightly, in moderation?
ОтветитьI am a major fan of Natto. I eat 1 pack a day. I think I will start making Natto again. I am surprised that although I tell people that Natto is possibly the worlds #1 super
food, and at the CDC there is a document from a study that says, if you start eating Natto everyday, your overall chance of dying from stroke or heart attack goes down by 50% start that day. And goes down by 25% for all cause death. Yet, I can't get any Americans to eat it! Wow!
i love miso
ОтветитьIt is quite hard to find japanase ingredient here . But I do find some miso paste here and now I can make miso soup with it . I also really want to try natto . I have to ordered it online !
