Sorry for offtopic, but I very often hear phrases like "Oh, if GW advertised the old 'fantasy' in the past as they advertise the Warhammer Age of Sigmar now ..."***
But. How is GW especially advertising Warhammer Age of Sigmar now?
I definitely see: on the residual principle and excessive economy. I'm especially sad that a good animation trailer with Orks and Krieg was made for Kill Team, and for War cry - an equal game - only moving pictures, as usual.

* These people definitely forget about Warhammer Online. Whose hype and advertising were clearly more expensive than TW now.

So Glass, what’s with smoke in KT. Can you fight in it? Can you shoot in it if the target is in the same cloud, can you charge in it or out of it? What’s the glass break down

Would love to see a 40K version of Warcry.
Warcry is just so much more refined and easier to get into, without all the convoluted and overly fiddly rules of Kill Team.
It's what has turned so many people I've known away from the GW games, where more time is spent in rule books than playing the game.

I hope that they actually release bespoke gangs in this edition that are not just chaos. I would love to see bespoke warbands like Skaven, undead, green skins etc and not just rules to use games made from AoS models.

I don't like chaos . It is ugly and l am not in to body horrir. I like how classic wfb humans, dwarfs and elf look like. From new armies l like how the lumineth lords, K.overlords and Ogors look like after some knife work is done to them. The game sounds nice, but getting in to it sounds very expensive. Specialy with no battlescribe and waahpedia.

I am so pumped up for this box. We dabbled in WarCry for the first time a few months ago but this seems like a great reason to fully hop on the bandwagon. Happy to see we aren't the only ones!

I seriously doubt they would bring Mordheim back, but how cool would it be to have a Mordheim themed warcry release? A whole bunch of terrain, some warbands more akin to the old world, like they did with that witch hunter warband for Underworlds, and a thematic campaign, all using the rules and narrative structure of Warcry. I personally would love it, but maybe it's a product for nobody. People who enjoy Mordheim will stick to it, and new people wouldn't really care about the setting. Still, I think it's a neat idea, but I'm no game designer or marketing specialist.

How does the Underworlds Warband (Starblood Stalkers) line up with the Seraphon bad guys in the book?

Wait, Onslaught has lost its range restriction? Or have GW forgotten that they added that in the first errata for the first edition? I guess we'll find out when the first errata drops for this edition...

What if 40K started using the WarCry start of turn initiative system? We could remove stratagems and instead use them or more interesting things as the abilities that you could by with the dice during the turn. Much more limited and clean. Glance at your opponents card and you had a good idea of what to expect :)

Reactions reduce the punishment you get for screwing up. For me that’s never a good thing, YMMV though.

If you just use the Universal specials against someone who knows what they are doing you are going to have a very bad day.

People always knock Warcry as a competitive game. In my experience that tends to be because they try to do Matched Play without taking out the cards that aren’t intended for Matched Play. This can give a heavily skewed experience. At the core of Warcry is a brilliantly tight game of positioning, action economy and activation management. With the exception of certain outliers (Iron Jawz being the most obvious) it rewards good play and understanding your warband while really punishing bad play and players with a ‘lol roll dice’ attitude.

Also the primal intellect thing is the underworlds warband - brand new awesome sculpts.

Loved the “does it go back into the box?” That’s a big selling point to me. My kids lose my hobby stuff.

Just a clarification on abilities. You can get a max of 3. Three doubles on 6 dice if you hold onto the wild die. Min of zero, but again, only if you don’t use your wild die to make a double.
