I love this movie. For so many reasons. But most of all...I know a guy, he hates this movie - he hates it because for him, it's the worst "spy" movie ever. And he'd be right. But as far as I'm concerned, it's not a spy movie at all. It's a failing marriage movie using spies as the vehicle for the failing marriage. And...I have to admit, this movie is the movie that makes me wish that Brad and Angelina could have made it work. There's a...almost heartbreaking...meta-awareness, of the fact that these two people genuinely love each other at some level, but have forgotten it somehow over time - and only through the brutal conflict of letting go of their false personas make their genuine love possible - it's complicated, and I may be over-romanticizing it, to be sure - but this is the movie that makes me wish that they could have found lasting love with each other. Either way, it makes for a great movie, and is nearly perfectly executed - the nearly perfect balance of genuine human drama combined with fun and well filmed actions scenes and just the right amount of comedy. Whatever anyone else says about the "brangelina" era, this movie, I feel, is the pinnacle of their collaborations.

I know the usual interpretation is she's more the brains he's more the brawn, but his wine bottle move was a slick play.
