Momentum Atlas Automatic Review. Classic Field Watch Now With A Miyota 9015.

Can someone tell me how soon, after putting it in direct light source, their watch started to work? I've had mine charing all afternoon and evening since it arrived and ... nothing. It came with no information about this either, so my initial excitement has turned to high levels of frustration.

Momentum should get more attention than they do because they're serious about making tool watches that are meant to be used, and you're not the first person I've heard praise their aftermarket service. I have an M1 from back when the company was called St. Moritz. It's taken a knock or two and that is obvious at a glance but I love wearing it all the more. It was bead blasted before bead blasting was in vogue.

I like mine. Got it with the rubber strap. Thought the titanium bracelet would scratch too easily.

Decent alternative to the Smiths Navigator PRS-48 I was eyeballin' lately.
Looking at the rest of their line-up... doesn't inspire all that much confidence if I'm being honest... trying a bit too hard to do too many different things.
This model definitely is the cherry of the bunch, hopefully they can build upon that and get better with each new launch.

Will do! I love Momentum, but they get a bit pricey for what they are.. But I wouldn't upgrade to the bracelet, as it pinches the hair on your wrist, and the cordura strap falls apart quickly. My keepers have already disintigrated.
