How would you rank this movie from 1 to 10?
ОтветитьThe calculator on the desk at the end was BOOBLESS it was a calculator joke in the eighties. Only works on old school calculator. 6922251x8 = 55378008 turn upside down.
ОтветитьI’m the cosmic ADHD king and I think this movie would have resonated much more if they included that bit. No way would I have been offended, not enough people are aware of what it truly is.
Ответитьying and yang
ОтветитьI got ADHD and I can assure you, that having a character deal with ADHD isn't insensitive!
Actually, I still felt that Evelyn had ADHD, as she has quite the problems of concentrating or postponing her boring paperwork, until it's almost too late OR that she has so many talents and dreams, but didn't properly follow them in that version. Definitely felt that one.
the cookie they give the agent has a smily face (jam mouth and nut eyes
ОтветитьA HUGELY overrated movie. Do yourself a favor and if you want to watch it, watch it for free. Trust me, you’ll thank me.
ОтветитьPretty sure the sword Joy is wielding in one of the kung fu scenes is Green Destiny from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
ОтветитьOmg this movie was good
ОтветитьFeel like more and more I see people mention references they just talk out their ass but it is kinda similar 🤣
ОтветитьI think we can thank a six-sided die for the multiverse
ОтветитьI ADHD and during the movie I felt seen several times. Even the title is a direct definition of how I feel most of the time
ОтветитьJobu Topaki’s name may be random sounds, but it seems almost Japanese to me, which is interesting coming from a Chinese family.
ОтветитьWow, okay…. Try and spit out some of the Hollywood Academy self-gratifying coolaid and think about this for a second.
The woke Academy threw this award at a bunch of foreigners in a movie with a leading lady, gay kid (ok, enuff virtue signaling) and place it up on the pedestal as being on par with Gine with the Wind, out of Africa, Casablanca and platoon
Between the clumsy dildo wagging fight scenes and butt plugging choreography, did you ever stop to think the academy is playing a joke, eating a turd saying it’s delicious, to see how many subbies will cowtow, conform and gobble the crap down and spread the word?
Let’s all embrace nonsense and give false praise to this theatrical effort , but don’t say it is on the same Oscar level as Ordinary People, No Country for Old Men or the Delarted.
Puh-leeze
in chinese, your mom´s is a curse word that you can treat as the F word
ОтветитьI wish I would have missed the whole movie. I want those hours of my life back
ОтветитьThe bagel is a reference to the circular alien language from Arrival.
ОтветитьI wonder if their title comes from the joe rogan experience
ОтветитьAs someone with ADHD, I actually thought the film was trying to represent the feeling of having it. I wouldn't be the least bit offended if that's what they were going for, because I actually looked at my fiance's family and said while watching the movie, "THIS is what it's like to have ADHD!"
ОтветитьThe laundry bag has 42 on it. Thats the answer to the meaning of life lol.
ОтветитьThis movie is hands down the best movie I've ever seen
ОтветитьI believe that the "I luv tennis" scene is inspired by that "My passion is graphic design" meme
ОтветитьSo when he said those song lyrics, I had to pause the movie because my head was "I know those lines..." Still makes me giggle
Ответитьit was jarring to encounter the 'it was, of course, scrapped' re: undiagnosed adhd when this film feels steeped in adhd start to finish. why, of course, would that have been scrapped?
ОтветитьActually came to know the movie itself because of the Martial Arts Club YT brothers! Been following them for years, their talents are great af!
ОтветитьThe electric wheelchair of Evelyn’s dad uses the same power source as the DeLorean in Back to the Future (the one that uses trash).
ОтветитьÌ missed a lot more than 25 things because I got very bored a little more than half way through and quitted watching.
ОтветитьThis movie sucked.
ОтветитьWhat's the point in trying to pronounce Kung Fu the way one would in China, if all you're going to do is say it wrong in both languages? Dude's using some weird mix of both...
ОтветитьI wonder why no one is talking about the third eye as a chakra..
ОтветитьJobu Tupaki means Pocket Pistol or Pocket Gun in Telugu a South Indian Language. It translates literally. I can't believe that's a coincidence.
ОтветитьThis isn't an Easter egg or anything but I think my favorite single line in the movie is when Evelyn says "But she's my daughter!" and Alpha Gong Gong replies "And she's my granddaughter, how do you think I feel?" James Hong absolutely positively nails that line. In that one moment we get to see the emotional impact that this is having on him but also the incredible level of control and self-sacrifice is character is experiencing. It's a great line and scene and James is able to communicate so much in those few seconds because he's James Hong ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe Thai title’s meaning is “older Chinese sister through metaverse”
ОтветитьWhat was the goonies reference? A fanny pack?
Ответитьjust the opposite! EVERYTHING MATTERS, SO LET'S ENJOY OURSELVES! Fight with kindness! :)
Ответитьi thought this was supposed to be things i missed, not things that are very obvious to see ._.
ОтветитьNo, I don’t get the gist…I think this movie was like a bad acid trip for me, but may because I’m old. So much symbolism.
ОтветитьCame here to see Rick & Morty vs MCU takes on multiverse, and leaving disappointed that nobody related EEAAO's take to Rick & Morty WAYYYYYY closer than MCU's. Especially with the sense of humor in them.
ОтветитьJobu Tupaki uses the green destiny sword from "crouching tiger, hidden dragon"
Ответить"quiet yet unwavering" are not the LAST TWO adjectives I'd use to describe a fox, but by God they're low on the list. Foxes have such a negative reputation in Asia, too, I'm surprised they chose fox instead of, I dunno, dog or sheep.
ОтветитьI hate to be this person but jeez, this narrator is quite annoying 😒. He giggles and laughs like a child when mentioning the bdsm scene and 🍆. Annoying to hear that while I'm trying to watch the video.
ОтветитьThis ridiculous movie went through so many disjointed things at me all at once, I NEEDED to watch this. You couldn't PAY me to sit through this comedy/scifi/kung fu movie again.
ОтветитьI totally got the "In the Mood For Love" reference. It was one of my favorite scenes of the film.
ОтветитьFirst time I watched this movie with my mom, and I mentioned to her: wow, that scene looks so much like a Wong Kar Wai's movie that I love. So I was right 😊
ОтветитьI love this movie but I cant ever rewatch it cuz the hot dog scenese with the liquids make me gag so bad lol!
ОтветитьI can see the appeal of this movie for you. It has been called Nihilistic and Existentialist, which goes along with your closing line: "Nothing matters so let's enjoy ourselves." For some, this worldview leads to despair, or a search for meaning.
ОтветитьWith the last fact, I know a lot of people with ADHD have connected to this movie anyway!
