Can you explain step by step how to make this multi-library you created in Studio One (with Multi out), including the input, thanks.
ОтветитьHello! If I may, I would like to add a little addition to this wonderful and indeed life-saving method. Everytime I am getting a new library, I do the following: Load every patch. Purge all samples as described. Change the name to "0_purged_[original name]" (adding zero just for these patches to stay on top of the patches list) and then quickly play a chromatic scale in the range of the instrument you're working with, and then saving the patch with the new name (patch only, no samples). That way my sometimes complex arrangement templets are only consists of these pre-purged files. So, loading takes next to zero time and system RAM is very thankful yo me :) Cheers, keep on creating and stay safe!
ОтветитьSO useful! Easy to follow and well presented, thanks for making!
ОтветитьReally handy video.
Enjoying the background music by the way :-)
Thumbs up.
The database is one of those things in Kontakt that I've never really used and it seems like it could be useful (though I've also read things about it slowing kontakt down or requiring more RAM if the database is densely populated). So far I just organize all the patches and multis in quickload, but that's not searchable or filter-able, of course...
ОтветитьGreat video. I've only been using Kontakt for about nine months or so, and have yet to really dig deep. Not much beyond saving some snapshots, using quick load menus, starting to use batch resave, and messing around with a few controls. And, well, installing a bunch of libraries! Anyway, I've got so much to learn. This was timely, as I'm to the point of getting more out of the Kontakt interface and all that it does. So, more like this is always appreciated!
