IF you noticed something.. Yes the point of choosing is either.
R3 3200G or R5 5600g.

then go from
R3 3200G + upgrade with GPU of 1660 super or Rx580.
or
R5 5600g + upgrade with RTX 3060 or RX6600

Don't go for the middle ones. you're just wasting money. you could have spent the difference in those CPU's for a GPU.

If you have small budget, go with R3 3200G first and it takes around 299 bucks for a PC built now,

And upgrade it to Ryzen 7 5700G because has same AM4 socket version if you have more budgets

If your options are between r 5 3400g and r 5 4600g then go for 3400g because it gives pretty much same performance.

not quite the improvement, isn't it. But newer processros support faster RAM so there can be a little boost if you use it

now i know i didn't lose much by buying a 3400g(5000 series wasn't available at that time)

You can oc the memory at least up to 3600 and the core(for the 4000 and 5000 g to 2300) which gives you a pretty nice boost

Instead of Cpu oc i think you should use igpu OC

Of course the 3400G is gonna beat the 4600G when overclocked. It has more CU in its GPU, so bumping the clocks just a bit increases its performance higher.
