The Curtis Reeves case is insane. What a tragedy for Chad to meet his end over such a silly dispute. This only illustrates that no one is trustworthy of keeping guns in places like public parks or theaters, especially not man-children like Curtis who resort to weapons when they get angry. I just watched the footage from the theater and it's even more clear that he's guilty. The only reason why he was acquitted was because the prosecution didn't do that great of a job. They weren't focusing on the evidence that mattered.

I just want to say that if they were ever to make a movie about that first case, it should star John Lithgow as the defendant and Jennifer Carpenter as the D.A. Because that's how I viewed the entire thing.

I think Curtis actually did well testifying in his own defense.

I pity the jurors. They must be bored and annoyed out of their minds to witness this arrogant boor for the duration of the direct examination.

Great video, although having just watched the Curtis Reeves section it feels like this wasn’t a great example, especially compared to the others. He seemed to do pretty well on the stand even when getting hammered about the discrepancies between his testimony and original police interview. I kept waiting for it to turn and it never did, then he got acquitted so clearly the jury to some degree found him credible.

I don't get why someone kills their own entire family. What's the point? What do you gain? What do you do after that if you don't get caught? Merely exist? You float around as some bitter old man with no wife or kids and with only sad memories, desperately hoping you don't get caught. Having to live with the anxiety and guilt. Sure for a while you can live on the empathy from friends and loved ones but many of them will have suspicions anyway and those that don't will get over their concern for you and you'll just become some old dude who had a sad life to them. They won't want you around, not without your wife and kids. What then? You probably end up committing sepuku.

If you got bit by a bug in Florida, more specifically at Disney why on earth would you move from another state to some faux Disney town so close to the exact place where you got bit by ‘something’ that was supposedly just ruining your life.
