I’ve ridden the BEAST a few times. I love that it is a wooden coaster. It has been my favorite and always will. The best was riding it in the 1st car and then the last car when it was dark before closing. That was amazing. Of course don’t forget the photos at the end. 🎢

Been on this one a few times, spent a couple years in Dayton while growing up. Took my husband to King’s Island for our honeymoon in 1994, and rode The Beast. Last time I was ever on a rollercoaster. Came off that thing with a mild concussion after my head smacked the seat going around one of the tighter curves. My head was all fuzzy feeling, and I knew something just wasn’t right. Don’t remember much about the rest of the day.

Safest roller coaster in Ohio

That was cool. First time seeing a VR 360 on my phone. 🙋‍♂️ from WA state.

I grew up half-hour away from King's Island. The Beast became a right of passage for the young when it was built. I remember vividly riding it in 1980 in the fourth grade. Couldn't wait to get to school and brag. With seasons passes and such, probably been on it over a hundred times...still my all time fav wooden coaster....

My favorite wooden coaster was the Cyclone Racer in Long Beach at the Pike that had two tracks with the cars racing one another. It was fun to wave at mom and dad in the other car. They dismantled it in 68 with the hopes of it being re-built elsewhere but it never happened.

The Beast is top notch in thrill and good old belly gulps. It's super long, crazy fast at times then like a mellow cruise. The 1st hill lifts you so high you can literally scope out your car in the parking lot. While you're being lifted you're hearing the creepiest foreboding CLICK CLICK CLICK then there's a pause and DROP!!! It's amazing actually. Day or night. Front car or back car.
