ОтветитьWhy wasnt the squishy save hear?
ОтветитьI cut my eye open when I was 2 years old and went to hospital and had to get stitches I might have the same scar to this day
ОтветитьI think Zen has actually reached the skill ceiling
ОтветитьSurprised to see these were all NA
ОтветитьAfter seeing that game with 20 demos, I still refuse to accept that.
Ответитьthis makes me wonder what theyll be in the future(probably not much now that epic has decided to destroy yet another game)
ОтветитьI’m teaching a friend to play and told him demos are not lame and a completely valid strat, unless we get demoed then they are lame
Ответитьi hate comm
ОтветитьUpdated video with Zen
ОтветитьThe true rocket league skill ceiling is being able to turn off the sweat when you play private matches. Met far too many virgins and losers that are lower than my skill that I play “fun matches” with, and it’s just them playing toxic meta the entire time. They don’t know how to relax. It’s kinda pathetic.
Awesome girl I used to play with, she was quite a bit better than me too; but we did a 2v2 “freestyle” with bots. 3 mins in she had 12 goals and I had 0 points. 0. She wouldn’t let me even touch the ball, and would score the cheapest most boring goals. Told her bye after that lol.
I would honestly predict the ceiling “caps out” here in the next 2-3 years, because now the game has been out so long most of the pioneers can’t stay at that level. Kronovi for example. The game would not even be without him. Yet he’s so surpassed now, mostly because it will always be easier for someone to copy and perfect than it is for someone to make from scratch.
I really can’t imagine any more new mechanics unless they change something with boost or ball physics. Stuff we see used nowadays is just a merging of already established things. I feel like Zen made some cool stuff happen lately in the last big pro series, but it’s whatevs.
u missed the era of passing and airdriblles
Ответитьdamn new mechanics would be insane
ОтветитьThe true skill ceiling will come when losers stop using the octane
ОтветитьI remember when I first started playing this game, the fastest way to turn around was to jump and do a 180 spin... this was pre half flips
ОтветитьThis is so nostalgic
Ответитьlooking at today's rocket league bots, i think we will have a situation of bots far far stronger even than the best players, something similar to chess bots and we may never settle on a skill ceiling for this game
ОтветитьWho’s here after Zen won worlds by shattering the skill ceiling yet again?
ОтветитьComm is my spirit animal
ОтветитьNow you just have to do it as “5 times Zen shattered the skill ceiling”
Ответитьi did some rlcs enforcer roles.. 5-14 demos per game gets devestating
ОтветитьBro demochasing is not a tactic
Ответить2 neural network AI bots, 1 million matches, we could see in to the future.
ОтветитьZen has his own skill ceiling
ОтветитьThe 6th time is ZEN lol
ОтветитьI hope you didn’t forget to mention the birth of Zen!
Ответитьzen
ОтветитьZen has raised it ev3n more
ОтветитьIBP Over Zero air dribble is missing
ОтветитьIs the skill ceiling made of glass or what? xd
Ответитьzen and vatira come in
ОтветитьMetsanarus has squishy ptsd
ОтветитьJust downloaded the game and gonna try it for the 1st time. Wish me luck :)
ОтветитьFirst vid of yours ive seen and wow im amazed at the production value
ОтветитьThere actually is a difference between a demo and a demo. If you demo to enable a goal or a save or maybe to setup something it is totally fine and i use it as well. But there are also people who demo for no real reason and even sacrifice opportunities just to lower your moral. Yes, this is a game feature and it sometimes is hard to draw a line if someone bumped you with the intention to bully you or to enable something you did not see. But it's like pulling on someones shirt or like fouling someone in football/soccer, you can use it to your advantage and even get away with it sometimes. But you are rightfully concidered to be an a-hole and someone without sportsmanship. This is still a game and not a survival situation. You are still playing with and against other humans and therefore you have to respect and at least treat them like other humans.
ОтветитьShow me something impressive next time.
Ответитьthe sound design on this video is awesome.
ОтветитьSomehow NRG was always involved...goated team🙃
ОтветитьHey low champ players and below, see how one defender sits and net and the other tactifully challenges the ball? Yeah thats how youre supposed to play in higher game lobbies, stop crapping on your teammates pretending they're bad
Ответитьlove how gimmick turns his head to squishy after seeing the replay and realising what just happened :D
Ответитьtwo minutes of useless intros and ads before even getting to the video.... lame
Ответитьyou talk too damn much just play the clips thats it
ОтветитьI don't believe there's a ceiling
ОтветитьThrust master sounds like a bogus 80’s exercise equipment
ОтветитьComing from CS which is the main game I used to really grind in high school, I could only express my respect to the skill cieling in RL when I first played it. Seeing some of the bronze 2 smurfs or even just accidental plays I was immediately aware this game has an even higher skill celing than CS simply due to the innumerable arial configs you could pull.
ОтветитьRocket league is one of the games with no skill ceiling. Literally, every time, you could have done something better. Theoretically-more on the mechanic side though-anything within your monitors frame rate is possible, for example, if you have a 240 Hz monitor, any 240 frame perfect input is possible (which means that you can be doing the perfect inputs up to 1/240 of a second precision). Though when it comes to positioning and understanding of the game, it's a bit more complicated. Technically what's possible is the lowest reaction time possible on a human being since we really can't predict the future that well
Ответитьhavent watched yet, but i am guessing squishy is gon be in here, has to be at least
Ответитьvuja
ОтветитьMany competitive games try to force meta changes through endless balance patches but I think the key is to develop a system that is both simple and deep enough for players to reinvent the game themselves over and over again.
